Someone needs to explain to them that "soon" is a relative term. "The glacier will reach the bay soon."
Burdine is saying "They said around 2." And you know it is going to be pretty anticlimactic. Maybe two from the Belgium club?
Much better. ...and as long as they don't announce a contract extension to Vadim Demidov, I'll be pacified. Unless Harrison Heath has a younger brother. Then all bets are off.
950819449631895553 is not a valid tweet id lol...they deleted the tweet MNUFC signs Cameroon international attacker, Frantz Pango https://www.mnufc.com/post/2018/01/09/cameroon-international-pangop-joins-mnufc Minnesota United has announced the signing of Cameroon international attacker Frantz Pangop, who will join the Loons’ roster pending receipt of his P1 Visa and ITC. “Pangop is quick, dynamic and has the skill to create and score goals –– he’ll get people out of their seats,” said MNUFC assistant coach Ian Fuller. “His movement is really positive, with and without the ball, and his national team experience will also be beneficial moving forward.”
Just a note: if we look at Wrights's words as well......"two players for the same international team." Option might be Frank Boya (midfielder), another Cameroonian, who plays for one of the Belgian teams they were seen scouting.
A lot of other fans are much more positive about this signing than I am. Not a fan of using an international spot for this guy. Hopefully tomorrow's signing is more promising.

Don't disagree. Not down on it, just not as excited. As the next will be another player from Cameroon (If we understood Wright correctly), we really need to make the most of those international spots. Don't mind depth, just not sure we should be giving up those spots for that purpose. Especially as we need help in other areas.
The African Cup of Nations kicks off this week in Morocco and #MNUFC fans will likely want to watch on Jan 16th to get a look at new signing Pangop in the Cameroon v Congo match.— Wes Burdine (@MnNiceFC) January 10, 2018
Decent detective/speculation work from reddit (Man, I wish I had time to do this stuff. ) https://www.reddit.com/r/minnesotaunited/comments/7pduju/mnufcs_next_cameroonian_signing_follow_the/
A bit from Rueter's Periscope session last night. I think that you will see players come in...I've been tracking a lot of names including 2 potential Designated Players who are in serious consideration with Minnesota United... they are the types of players that will move the needle for Minnesota United to become much closer to a playoff team... What I will say is that there are reinforcements on the way and Tyrone Mears is not going to be the best player you get.
#MLS sources telling me that #MNUFC are among the #MLS sides who have inquired about #NERevs midfielder Lee Nguyen.— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) January 12, 2018
United remains steadfast on adding players after several got away https://t.co/ausYsoF1K1 pic.twitter.com/dI1vNbcRWF— Pioneer Press (@PioneerPress) January 18, 2018 Meh ...lower those expectations
Hey 👀, from what I'm hearing #MNUFC has not been actively shopping M. Ibarra in recent weeks. At this point, it's more likely than not that he'll remain a Loon - unless another team makes a Godfather offer at tomorrow's #MLSSuperDraft. https://t.co/mN6ZJ24qck— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) January 18, 2018
Hard to sell living in Minnesota while temperatures are hovering near Absolute Zero...maybe this week will be better...
I'm hearing that #MNUFC is reviewing offers to trade down and acquire additional assets. The Loons likely see this #MLSSuperDraft as deep, but with few players who can make an immediate impact available at pick 5.— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) January 19, 2018 My guess is that they won't make a deal before their name is called in the #MLSSuperDraft. If a player like Moutinho or Hilliard-Arce slips to fifth, that might tempt #MNUFC. The Loons lack young players with high upside, particularly in defense.— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) January 19, 2018
Minnesota United table has been very popular. @MNUFC sits at No. 5 overall. Looks like several teams are considering moving up to that pick.— Paul Tenorio (@PaulTenorio) January 19, 2018
Orlando City is talking to Minnesota right now. @MNUFC is on the clock. Fire have also been interested in No. 5 pick.— Paul Tenorio (@PaulTenorio) January 19, 2018
And #MNUFC takes its timeout, which usually hints at a potential trade— Megan Ryan (@theothermegryan) January 19, 2018 Sounds like Chicago Fire took its timeout, so that should tell you something #MNUFC— Megan Ryan (@theothermegryan) January 19, 2018 Looks like a trade is going down between the Fire and MNUFC. Chicago is handing in their pick right now. Paperwork being filled out. #MLSSuperDraft— Paul Tenorio (@PaulTenorio) January 19, 2018
Amos Magee now at the #cf97 table. Chicago Fire look to be making this pick, we’ll soon find out what #MNUFC got for it. #SuperDraft— Fifty Five One (@FiftyFiveOne) January 19, 2018
#MNUFC traded its No. 5 pick to the Chicago Fire, who are now on the clock. Details to come.— Megan Ryan (@theothermegryan) January 19, 2018
