Here's the June schedule: Group A: New Zealand won the group and the games are irrelevant. June 7: Fiji vs. New Caledonia June 11: New Caledonia vs. Fiji Group B: Tahiti has 6 points and is done playing. Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands have 3 points. June 9: Solomon Islands vs. Papua New Guinea June 13: Papua New Guinea vs. Solomon Islands Tahiti has a +3 goal differential, Papua New Guinea is -1, and Solomon Islands is -2. Therefore Tahiti wins the group if both games are draws or if each team wins once and one margin of victory isn't much bigger than the other. Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands need at least 4 points or 3 points and a big goal differential improvement.

Papuasia- Solomon Islands : 1-2 Papuasia was one-man down for most of the match, and scorers were : Raymond Gunemba 1 - 0 1 - 1 Henry Faarodo (PK) 1 - 2 Jerry Donga So eventually; Solomon Islands will face New Zealand in the august double confrontation that will determine which OFC team will have the priviledge to be thoroughly rampaged by any Conmebol team ending up as the fifth, like Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Uruguay, Paraguay or Ecuador... Picture yourself Solomon-Islands vs Chile or Argentina... Irony aside, congrats to the solomon Islands "Bonitos" and good luck against New Zeland !

NZL finally played the way they should against Oceanic teams - 6-1 win, Chris Wood netted three times.
2-2 draw. Hard work for the Newbie players without some of the backbone players in the All Whites. Solomon Islands gave it a good go for glory. Heat humility didn't create any foul or dangerous situations for the players. A fully fit and heathy team/squad for the friendly and play offs. A friendly against Ranked 44 Japan side next month is been declared and onto 11th November for the intercontinental play offs with the fifth place South American side. Home game in Wellington first and then four days later away.
is the 11th confirmed? getting tickets to this game is going to be harder than getting tickets to the All Blacks vs The Lions games...
http://www.nzfootball.co.nz/ic-playoff-date-to-be-confirmed/ says the date won't be announced until after the October WCQs.
Japan 2 - 1 New Zealand. Crowd numbers: 38,461+ A decent away game against the samurai blues. Lost 2-1 but a good showing to be beaten by a late goal and also a debated Durante hand ball that gave them a penalty to change convert. However the penalty goal gave them a dominant second half with a Marco Roja assisted peel back from the goal line to Chris Wood's head into the goal after 8 minutes to level the game. http://www.nzfootball.co.nz/all-whites-fall-late-to-japan/
New Zealand should move to AFC and instead Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, East Timor move to OFC. What do you reckon? Such a move will ensure teams of Papua New Guinea, Fiji, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Guam and East Timor can improve and have at attempt at playing intercontinental playoff matches
Northern Mariana Islands can't play intercontinental playoff matches because they're not a member of FIFA.

Too late for such a change since after the coming World Cup there is going to be a 48 team tournament with the OFC winner with an automatic entry and the runners up will be in a play-off pre-tournament group which will give the island nations a couple of bites of entry as well as a possible upset win lingering. If anything a few teams from Asia may consider switching over to OFC to nab a runner-up spot to have a better chance as well as strengthen the OFC confederation.

Peru is the well deserved victors. However with an injured Chris Wood with limited playing time (should have started and not really expected to chase balls down). And a curious foul not called on in the first few minutes of the game in the penalty box and even stranger non tv replay on it. (Must be tv policy.) It could have an interesting reversing of the results.
and he ends up in Colorado: http://www.9news.com/sports/soccer/...on-named-colorado-rapids-head-coach/495520476 KUSA - Anthony Hudson was named the new head coach of the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday. “This is a very special moment for the Rapids,” said Sporting Director and Interim General Manager, Pádraig Smith in a news release. “In Anthony, we believe we’ve hired one of the most promising young talents and we’re extremely grateful for the support shown by the Kroenke family and the KSE executive team who remain committed to our goal of bringing another MLS Cup to Colorado.” Hudson, 36, has been the head coach of the New Zealand national team the last three years. Earlier this month, Hudson led New Zealand to an Intercontinental Playoff appearance against Peru. The New Zealand team fell just short of qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
