So rumours for these matches are that Cucho and Montero will be called up.

These next two matches are going to be vital for us.

While CONCACAF teams may be downplayed, I do think that these two countries are capable of giving our players a run for their money. The reason why I believe this is due to USA's improvement and Costa Rica is a team that, despite their bad record, can make any team put in the effort to defeat them.

And yet they tend to do better than what people expect at the world cup; specficially Mexico at this year's world cup making it out of the group stage and same to how Concacaf did pretty good in the last world cup.

Never undermind this region because upsets are prone to happen.

All people expected that mexico would passed to second round in second position as they did

Usa is just bad and didnt qualify...

Venezuela that never have been in a world cup can easily defeat all teams of that federarion

By "all people", I think you mean just Mexicans; there's that much of them.

Venezuela couldn't even beat Iran...also the USA beat Bolivia and Paraguay. Yes those aren't strong teams in south america but to take Concacaf lightly is stupid. Hell the USA actually drew with France in their own stadium. And with a brand new young squad. Hell they drew against Portgual as well, both european teams resulting in a 1-1

Also, I can't remember the last time we actually crushed these guys; the last few years has been a difference by 1 single goal. The closest was 0-2 in the Copa America 2016 opening game.

Why just mexicans??? Mexico is a team that in the last 9 wc that they have played they always pass to the next round......ALL PEOPLE KNOW that they are the less worse of that poor confederation.
In Colombia we respect mexicans and we are close to them....

Concacaf is pathetic ......usa didnt qualify because lost the spot with a team...that recieved 12 goals in the world cup.

No team of concacaf would qualify in conmebol wcq.........maybe mexico in playoffs.....

USA is just a joke..the only reason we are talking of that shitty confederation is because you live there.

Oh don't bullshit me; no one ever took Mexico seriously. They and USA are often mocked about never making it out of the group stage and are never taken seriously.

No, no Concacaf would qualify in conmebol's wcq, and neither would any asian team.

And no the reason why we're talking about this confederation is because we're facing them and every time we take a team of weaker confederation lightly we PAY THE ********ING price.

Seriously, since when did you forget about the times we've looked back at a team that was suppose to be beatable regardless of where they were from and lost?

Mexico invests well into their football development system. They have the money and passion to improve each generation that they have. Even then Concacaf is hardly competitive because of this.

Mexico always makes it to the second round regardless of the group. I think they just had one bad showing in 2010..usually they make the second round

Pepino is being 'brutally honest'. It hurts but he's not that off. As a "Conference" Concacaf is horrible. I do think the US can and does compete with Mexico/CR/Honduras and also dominated the region but can't be expected to beat any of the top 5-6 nations in Conmebol.

Mexico is on par with us with. Richer league. Weaker then Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. On par with Chile

US beneath the 6 teams above.

    After that Paraguay and Peru.

For those saying Venezuela is better then Costa Rica are being pretty hateful.

yup. can't disagree with anything he's said. Mexico are vastly superior to the USA but its not saying much at all.

the league? tough to say. Their local talent is pretty poor. They have an infinite amount of foreigner spots and money. We export players by the truckload every season and most of them have ended up having decent careers.

the US are vastly inferior to everyone basically, I don't have anything to add that hasn't been said already by pep. Despite this, I have a close friend who is a big fan and I live here so im trying to be supportive and keep an eye on the league and talent, but there isn't a whole lot to talk about

    Wow!!! Only 24 again!!!

Going to have to save up to have Someone Tanya Harding Reyes

    Falcao and Bacca!!!!!! Why!!!!

Jesion Murillo hasn’t played at all this season...... let’s give him a shot on the NT again.... and Oscar Murillo... Over 30.... well at least it is not Cristian Zapata.

Felipe Aguilar, Palacios and Machado !!! You fking serious!!!

    Benedetti, Barrera, Luis Diaz?

Not Cantillo, Duque but bring a 27 year old player from 2nd divison in Spain?

Will say happy to see Montero get a shot at the NT not sure if it’s just to get him a transfer. Would have preferred Arbolera over Ospina.

Us is using a youth team and Costa Rica sucks but yea let’s not give new guys shotS. New guys from last round all got dropped fk Reyes and our federation as they got their new puppet

Besides Campuzano, no Nacional players should've been here. In general almost the same list, happy to see Cucho. Benedetti and Vargas didnt get called because of the Sudamericana (understood @crzdcolombian ?) And no need to get excited anyway since we are still looking for a coach.

hmm, yeah I don't like this callup very much. Most of the new players that got called up are meh

also, apparently Campuzano and Duque are injured.

the lack of Benedetti makes me sad. Oh yeah and Cardona is back

But Benedetti has Sudamericana this is the reason. Same as Camilo Vargas who is having an excellent match vs. Santa Fe right now.

I am just glad to see Cucho and Borja on the list.
    (And no Morelos.)
