Well this topic is....off-topic now.
Podría haber usado "fuera" or "fuese," los imperfectos indicativos.
an salido muestras que claramente no entro?
the first goal was close. i didn't see it go in, especially not clearly enough for the goal to be declared by the linesman, but its not an outrageous call. neither was what happened in the last goal
every analysis from referees i have seen and from people who know the rules indicate that the goal was totally legitimate. in fact, they praise the referee for making the right decision in a tough spot.
btw, i think the way the ref allowed the players and coaches, from both teams, to enter the field and change his mind about calling off the game etc. was embarrassing.
Its pretty simple. the questions are the following
1) do the offside players come into contact with the ball? NO
2) do they interfere with the game (gain advantage through a rebound etc...)? NO
3) do the players interfere with a rival player
- this is the only aspect of this that is even remotely debatable. Montillo in the back appears to make a movement as if trying to get into a spot to head the ball.
- then there is the interpretation...does him doing this interfere with the goalie's attempt to save the ball. in my opinion, and i believe in that of most, the answer is NO
so the mistake was by the linesman not the ref. he needs to keep his flag down until the offside players play the ball, interfere with the play, or interfere with a rival player
ESPN breaks it down really well
So will Alianza fill in a complain to CONMEBOL and FIFA?
this may be true, Chileans and fans from every country have been saying this for decades.
but the solution is to stop favoring bra/arg teams, for the refs to lose fear of them, and to dictate the game equally always and everywhere...not to put more outside pressure on them
But is it that simple? When even CONMEBOL clearly favours certain countries over others, even outsiders.
no its not simple. but its the solution.
i understand why its frustrating, but the more i watch the replays the more i think Alianza didn't get jobbed at all....they played better, but soccer is about goals. and la U scores them when necessary.
the last goal is pretty clear according to the ref
- he doesn't think the offside players interfered with the play or the goalie
- the linesman raised the flag because he saw it go off a chilean player...since the ref knew it went off of a defender, he ignored teh linesman's decision
- he says he never disallowed the goal. he called it originally, went to talk to the linesman, and then revalidated it once he realized the linesman was wrong
This is what I do not get, broncanis:
1. romero brought up the whole pisco deal (pretty irrelevant to this discussion, would you not agree?);
2. you brought up the whole "derecho de estado" thing. Also, pretty irrelevant one would think.
Now, the moment I (or anyone) say anything back we're being a "picador".
O sea, por favor.
If you're gonna give a low blow, expect one back.
I doubt it, if the Irish who did get royally robbed, didn't get anything out of Fifa what to Alianza expect to get?
What I think is crazy is that Vera's only mistakes were to:
- Not card Costas in the celebration of Alianza's second goal, when he steps on the pitch.
- Not card Pelusso and the rest of the U de Chile staff when they get on his face, also not wait until they are far from him and the lineman to make his decision.
Everything else, from the first Alianza goal to the last U de Chile goal are pretty hard calls to make even with the benefit of slow replays from different angles, in the comfort of a TV studio or home. Imagine making these calls on the spot, in a split second. I actually feel bad for Vera and find laughable at the outcry from the Peruvian media, who wouldn't nearly over react as much if on the other side there wasn't a Chilean team.
lol, you actually got offended because of the pisco comment? Grow up dude.
I guess I should just put more smileys like you do, just so than you can know I'm joking. What a lil bitch.
Brazilians and Argentines don't get screwed over by the refs? Are you kidding me? Flamengo got assaulted by the refs in one of our games, favoring the Chilean side. That whole us vs the world garbage is a bunch of bull.
Ah damn: you're probably not bilingual so I should have written that in English.
And yea, cheers.
Fwiw, I am willing to propose a "peace treaty" so we can just put an end to all this nonsense that is getting nowhere.
Or, you could just stop responding every single post you are in disagreement with.
It's just an internet forum, there's going to be different opinions, and a few people who don't know how to discuss in an intelligent manner.
True: let's move on then.
