Okay, New York picks #2 overall Tony Tchani!!!! Welcome to the team kid SJ is now on the cloak, and Philly selected #1 overall Danny Mwanga. http://web.mlsnet.com/mls/events/superdraft/2010/draft_tracker.jsp #2 - Tony Tchani, University of Virginia, M, (age) 20 #14 - Austin da Luz, Wake Forest University, M, (age) 22 #18 - Tim Ream, Saint Louis University, D/M, (age) 22
After the seventh pick in the first round, Duka hasn't been picked yet. I wonder if his stock went down in the combine, or RBNY might pick him at 14. Let's see what happens but for now, Duka still waiting for his name to be heard is a bit strange.
Philly just selected Amobi Okugo from UCLA... they get to pick again thanks to the trade with DC United. Still no word on what Toronto has done and no more noise about some of the teams trying to get higher picks like New England.
Wow shocker of the Super Draft... Jack McInerney, Duka is still on the board, damn I'm getting nervous lol Heart Break @ #8.. Columbus select Dilly Duka. I hate Columbus a little more each day
I wonder if FC Dallas is still going to trade VDB during this draft. As Ives had said RBNY is his destination if there will be a deal in the works.
Took a look at the Draft Tracker. RBNY started with Picks #2, #18, #31, #34, #48 & #50. #31 & #48 are now with New England & we got #14 from Houston. What did we get from the Revs for those two draft positions?
Wondering the same thing... Would it be crazy if we traded allocation money to FC Dallas for DVB and then trade him to Columbus for Duka? Nah but weirder things have happened. Now SSFC selected David Estrada from UCLA at #11, wow that came out of no where.
RBNY takes their timeout. Is this the VDB trade in the works? Or trading for the Crew to bring Duka over? or making sure they want a draft pick that they have been scouting for.
Da Luz to me was the best player for long stretches during College Cup...and his technical skill seems to be highly rated, as opposed to his raw speed/power.
Your right we did. I also agree with Metrosuccess. RBNY is having a good draft right now. You can't go wrong with the ACC Conference. Just look at Jeremy Hall & Seth Stammler. U of Maryland products.
