    Rather than having five different threads for essentially the same thing like we do now, it seems like it would be nice if we had just one. This thread is just for random rumors, speculation, and just all around future transfer discussions. Unlike the confirmed transfers thread, which obviously, is for when signings are official.

    Possibly NYCFC's first loanee from City. Lots of rumors floating around that 17 year old Nigerian striker, Kelechi Ilheanacho, will go on loan to MLS after just signing for Manchester City.

    I think he would be a very exciting youngster to watch. It is worth noting however, that the Nigerian manager recently stated that he did not want him to go to MLS and instead wanted him loaned within the EPL.

    Or play duck and cover soccer with a relegation zone team, which I think would be much worse for development than playing competitive soccer in New York with experienced stars like David Villa and Frank Lampard.

    Ok so some guy named Andres Mendoza apparently said on the radio in Ecuador that he has signed with NYCFC. It's in Spanish so I am having trouble identifying him and it appears that there is a Peruvian player of the same name making google searching difficult. Anyone familiar with this guy or able to read spanish to get more info?

    So NYCFC is number one in the allocation ranking, and Kreis confirmed that they're looking at a number of players for this in particular. Mix Diskerud seems the most likely seeing as his contract expires with Rosenborg this December. And he might not take up a DP slot.

    Sacha Kljestan also seems to be looking for a move to MLS. Or maybe they could make a surprise move for Altidore who is just a bench player at this point.

    I'd rather have Mix over almost all other NT players at this point.

    He could play the CAM or even holding that they need. I would prefer they get a gritty d-mid like Beckerman or Jones but Dix could be effective with Lampard.

    Rumors of NYCFC wanting Roma striker Marco Borriello. Borriello's contract expires in June 2015 and personally I wouldn't pay to take him any sooner. His wages are very high as well, not sure if he's what the team needs.

    I also keep hearing that the league may but Cubo Torres and assign him somewhere. Orlando or NYCFC being the most likely spots. I would love to have him in NY Blue, him and Villa would be awesome.
