Tomorrow are the first two rounds of the SuperDraft.

    Our picks
    Round 2, Pick 16
    Round 3, Pick 10
    Round 3, Pick 16

Not expecting us to really do anything for this draft. I don't think we will even try to trade up.

Mix and Saunders were not included in the pre-season camp.

So are Saunders and Mix gone? PV definitely sounds like he's looking to trade/sell/cut Mix.

    Mix is done completely.

Saunders is probably gone as well. He was dropped behind Johansson by the end of the season. With Johnson's arrival that drops him even further in the pecking order. I'd like to see him retire and stay on as a GK coach. But hell probably end up in USL.

Saunders I think would be great as a GK coach and he should be given that opportunity but he's not starting caliber anymore as I'd prefer Johanson over him and I personally think its going to be a battle between Johanson and Johnson for the GK spot, which is great IMO. Mix is probably going to be loaned out to some Norwegian team or sold outright. He simply doesn't have a place on the team and he needs to go for everyone's sake.

Its too bad, Saunders was obviously better than Johansson. Pretty much a huge reason why they got bounced so hard out of the playoffs.

Have to disagree with you there Saunders wasn't very good last year and cost the team games with his poor distribution and his dwindling shot blocking ability. The reason the team lost to Toronto was its inability to impose itself in the midfield in any real way. Pirlo was a traffic cone in both games and Bravo in the first game was useless. Saunders believe it or not would have made the results worse IMO.

Perhaps you are imagining the heartlessness? Viera did not say Saunders was lousy, he merely said that he was not going to play much, implying that Saunders would be primarily a backup or even third string. Maybe it means that Viera thinks Johannson and Johnson are terrific. By being blunt and telling Saunders that he does not think he would play much helped Saunders and his agent feel the urgency to line up a deal with another team.

The fact that he was blunt in the press just means he was answering a reporter's question about the status of Saunders.

Plus Saunders was at 150,000 last season. In MLS, that is a lot to pay for a third string keeper.

Maxi --> Harrison --> Villa (or any combination thereof) is going to be freaking deadly this year!
