    Wonder if a shirt sponsorship deal is in the works? Looks like just another item to remove from the "to-do" list.

    I believe it could be on the back of the jerseys. On MCFC's website, they mention that the Nissan logo will feature on the back of the Manchester City Women’s shirt as they become Official Lead Partner of the Women’s team.

    Is that even allowed, though? Back in the 90's, yes, since the team name was front and center. I'd love to see two sponsors. And I hope Nissan is one. That would be sharp.

    I'm not sure what MLS's official policy is regarding two sponsors, but some MLS teams had sponsors on the back of their jerseys years ago?

    Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Back in that era, most of the teams had the team name in big letters across the front in addition to the traditional crest.

    I'm certainly not opposed to having a sponsor on the shirttail, but why leave the more visible front of the jersey blank?

    I'm getting excited for this club!
