Yahoo's page apparently gives two ways to access an NWSL game stream: 1. Videos (https://sports.yahoo.com/videos/), NWSL menu, choose from the embedded sidebar. This is probably also where archived streams are stored. Flaw: You can't close the sidebar, so you can't easily fit two such windows on the same monitor. 2. Soccer (https://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/), NWSL menu, click on a game's scoreboard. Each game page embeds its own stream There's still a sidebar, but it's somewhat less obtrusive. Anyways, you need two monitors
Yeah I tried to set up a custom web page where the two videos showed side by side but they stopped playing after a few minutes, so I had to go with two screens.
[NC-CHI] 26' 0-1 NC turnover(?) up right touch, with both fullbacks caught high? LB Wright(?) quickly passes to Nagasato not marked just behind midfield box left. Nagasato spins, first look is upfield at Kerr's timed run, perfect 40m pass sends Kerr past Erceg, through box top left post. Labbé lunges past spot, Kerr touches heavily past her, runs around ball at 8m 3-right and finally pulls a shot past Labbé's leg, into back left low. First goal of the #NWSL season goes to @samkerr1 of @ChiRedStarsPR!👏👏👏#NCvCHI | #NWSL | 💻 @YahooSports: https://t.co/lApUrwqIjH pic.twitter.com/Vg0K8mij3r— National Women’s Soccer League (@NWSL) April 13, 2019
Ah, snooped the page source for the stream frame URLs, then wrote your own .html file with those two links, and nothing else? Sometimes it works, sometimes they're on to you.
Yep. I do this with the Pac 12 network sometimes and it works fine. I'm wondering if it's something to do with trying to get the stream before the game started, so I'm gonna try again with the 2nd half.
Gotta say I'm enjoying Monumental right now for the Spirit-SkyBlue game. IDK if the broadcast is different than Yahoo or not.
[WAS-NJ] 59' 1-0 Pugh right ck, to 1/4 right high, Sheridan jumps and double-punches away, high to right. Ball drops at 5m 8-right, DiBiasi boxes out Kawasumi and nods it down to Sullivan at 5m 4-right. Sullivan pokes a ground pass to 7m center, Ch.Williams taps back to 12m right post. Staab steps to ball unmarked, shoots one-touch left instep pull past three outstretched legs screening Sheridan's dive, ball bounces past Sheridan's hand and squeezes in through the narrow gap between right post and Dydasco's leg. The rook @SamStaab_ breaks the deadlock to put Washington up 1-0 #WASvNJ | #NWSL | 💻 @YahooSports: https://t.co/H54evNcia0 pic.twitter.com/dZ58G2wgt3— National Women’s Soccer League (@NWSL) April 14, 2019 65' 1-0 Sky Blue cross to Lloyd facing away at 13m mid-left. Lloyd backs up and spins while bumping torsos with 2 defenders, goes down, no call.
Why not load the Yahoo stream and see? https://sports.yahoo.com/video/nwsl-sky-blue-fc-spirit-195900931.html
Aww... I missed the Courage goal (just saw the celebration at the end). Was looking at the other game.
[NC-CHI] 66' 1-1 Ln.Williams right throw-in at 6m, to Dunn standing unmarked at 12m box right. Wright steps up as Dunn turns, Dunn pokes past her to 12m 6-right. Davidson and Ertz both step up, but Dunn is already planting to shoot -- ball goes through Davidson's wicket? And it rolls behind her just inside left post, past Naeher's stutter-and-dive. #NCvCHI equalizer by @crysdunn_19! #NWSL | 💻 @YahooSports: https://t.co/lApUrwqIjH pic.twitter.com/jffCa05bqW— National Women’s Soccer League (@NWSL) April 14, 2019
79' 1-1 Dahlkemper right ck, outswings to 14m center. Erceg steps forth and drives a header to crossbar 1/4 right, Naeher flies across and pushes it wide with right hand reaching. Big saves, big mood for @AlyssaNaeher#NCvCHI | #NWSL | 💻 @YahooSports: https://t.co/lApUrwqIjH pic.twitter.com/ohlxnBoZ7x— National Women’s Soccer League (@NWSL) April 14, 2019
What we learned thus far... not much change from last year. All the teams seemed to pick up right where they left off.
