Courage put out a press release and their website has the updated 22, but not the four play practice squad. They did trade Morgan Reid to Orlando for a 2020 draft pick

Better late than never? Maybe getting Murphy's wife officially involved started putting things in motion?
"Late" would imply it did ultimately work, but the Breakers never did get a new group lined up, so that's not a good comparison.
I meant replacing the GM, not new ownership. Boston did eventually replace Lee Billiard (well as GM, even though he stayed with the team). But it was too late, the team still stunk it up in 2017. And Beard had from November to fix the team. (BTW, I just googled to see what Lee was up to and he's now the GM of Nottingham Forest Ladies)
I would like to ask posters here of what you think of the 2019 Chicago Red Stars home jersey? Elevating the game. The 2019 home kit.#MKOT pic.twitter.com/W4LekRYMiT— Chicago Red Stars (@chicagoredstars) April 14, 2019
Well... is "labyrintic" an existing adjective? Edit: I am aware that this should represent the city of Chicago (or at least I guess it should), but my choice of adjective to describe the effect stands.
The front is like a map of Chicago with L-Trains diagrammed. You can also recognize navy pier and of course Lake Michigan on the right side (or east). The back has the skyline of Chicago on the lower part of the jersey. https://twitter.com/chiredstarsPR?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author
The "L" is short for "Elevated". For those that have never been in Chicago, large parts of the train system in Chicago transportation runs on elevated tracks. You've watched the movies, right? Thus the slogan: "Elevating the Game". The CTA has 8 train Lines: Red Line, Orange Line, Yellow Line, Green Line, Blue Line, Purple Line, Brown Line, Pink Line. Those who live in Chicago can clearly identify the Blue Line, Orange Line, Red Line, Green Line and even the Purple Line on first glance at this jersey. Toyota Park or SeatGeek Stadium as it's called now, is closer to the Orange Line, a few miles away from Midway Airport going from downtown right to left on the jersey at an angle as you're looking at it.
It's not particularly close to the L. Six or seven years ago when the U.S. played Germany there I flew into O'Hare, took the subway downtown, had lunch, then caught the train out to Midway where I took a not terribly cheap or short cab ride to the stadium. After the game, I was basically screwed until a couple of the USSF press people noticed me and gave me a ride (with my gear) to my downtown hotel. This was pre-Uber/Lyft and there was no mass transit in site that late after a WNT game - especially for an out of towner. I was about to start randomly calling cab companies hoping not to get royally screwed on price or having to wait 30 minutes on a deserted street at night with all of my camera gear. The Bridgeview location is terrible. I have, in fact, walked to/from the nearest L stop and Soldier Field.
I like the jersey, but I like the rollout campaign more. I’m in the “Red Stars usually have very good kits” camp
- "labyrinthine" is the adjective form (which raises the question what's the proper adjective form of "adjective"?)
The Red Stars sold out their new jersey on ALL sizes within 24 hours, and the next badge being ordered is sold out from what I understand. .@chiredstarsPR launched their new Elevated Kit this week, and sold out every size in less than 24 hours. I get positively adjectival when I see Rachel Daly make a run for the goal. By contrast, the defensive moves of Sauerbrunn is adverbial -- and Sam Kerr's efficiency is downright nounal. Adjectival. Nounal is the name of a soccer player. Adjectival is when they shoot on-goal. Adverbial is their excuse when they miss. Pronounal is when they toot there own horn. Conjunctivitis is an eye disease.
For everyone saying "But Bridgeview isn't at a location on the jersey" - that's kinda missing the point. How often have the Red Stars done photo shoots and such downtown? They're the Chicago team, so it makes complete sense that they try to connect with "Chicago pride" (lowercase p) as much as possible. They have to get people as emotionally connected with them as people are with the city itself if they want those people to come out to their games. I think it's brilliant, and a really stylish design to boot. Makes total sense to me that they sold out their first AND second orders already.
I'm wondering how their sales of jersey's compare with their sales of tickets. I hope that the ticket sales are equally strong.
Part of it is also that they probably base their merchandise orders on previous sales, so the "sell-outs" could be tempered by the fact that the orders were small to begin with. Some solid numbers either way would be great, though; I would hope their first non-doubleheader game tops 4k in attendance.
