    Hello
First of all I know that this would belong into the Education forum also, but no one from the German forum ever looks in that one, so I guess it will be similair with the Dutch.
I just finnished school here in germany and will be doing 9 months of social service before I will start going to University next year. I am thinking about studiing in the Netherlands and have 2 questions about that (and I hope some of you may be able to answer me ;-) ). I am going to study history, btw

-I know that there are many subjects taught in English at the Dutch universities, some even in German. I assume though that for history I need Dutch, too... (would be going to learn it anyways, but I think it is somehow important to know. Didn't find any information on that in the net)

-Is it possible to study more than one subject in the Netherlands? For example, I would be interested to study journalism or Media sciences or economics/management.

    Thanks for the answers.

I think your best bet would be to contact the German embassy in The Hague, they can probably point you in the right direction, there's bound to be some class of German-Dutch student exchange programme. I personally know of no history course that's taught in English or German, but there might be, you never know.

In the Dutch academic system you basically choose one subject, but if you choose communications, for example, you can choose to specialise in journalism, but not in the first year.
