St. Vincent's gonna be on Live From Here tonight, so this is gonna be the first time I watch it live.
Wow, that was the most boring, least active "trampoline" ever. How can a song called "trampoline" be just two dorks with crappy keyboards whistling and a homely girl who refuses to move more than 15cm and whispers?
I listened to the song on spotify where it of course sounded good and much cleaner. But half the videos I want to post are blocked in the US(for instance Leslie Clio vids) so I had to refer to this semi-unplugged video
What Leslie Clio videos are "blocked" in the US? Just on youtube, there are dozens of videos. Dailymotion has dozens more. Please provide an actual song from Leslie Clio that you claim is blocked.
Im testing via VPNs and they seem to be correct 90% of the time. There are other artists obviously that dont have separate channels so this isnt an option with them. Others, for instance German artists dont have English subs or the videos with English subs are geo-blocked. I do rate LARY above Leslie but her vids are blocked in the US for sure blocked live version not blocked
German music industry focuses on markets in the following order: German speaking Europe, continental Europe, UK, then the US and the rest of the world. If an artist doesnt make a market you are not going to hear of him/her in the next tier. The UK market is such a strong treshold that you need a once in a generation world-beater like 99 red ballons to overcome it. For instance Helene Fischer is the 8th biggest female artist on this planet but you guys never heard of her cause she mainly sings in German and that hasnt worked out well so far in the UK https://www.theguardian.com/music/s...rstar-the-richest-singer-youve-never-heard-of
This thread is taking too long to load already. And then when it does load, it is friggin' Guns n Roses. Egad! [never said "egad" before]
