Personally, I was never really into his stuff, but a lot of people I knew were. From what I understand his early stuff was pretty trashy, but he grew up real quick musically and started putting out some genuinely thought-provoking stuff. I've only listened to that Tiny Desk and his one song that samples our favorite Bill Murray monologue: I might look into his stuff a bit more, because he's got a great jazz influence to his music.

Going to see Ozzy Osbourne Friday. These guys are opening. Makes me want to murder myself. What 43 million suckers watched this crap?
Were you at riot fest? His show was great. If you were at riot fest hopefully you saw Beck and stuck around till the end, or else you would've missed this...
Gary Numan still looks pretty good at 60. Not quite a "mechanical" anymore, but still. I almost went to Riot Fest to see Gary Numan, but didn't think it worth the effort. Never been a fan of Beck, though.
Do I really need to see Ozzy Osbourne solo career tonight? Looking at the setlist from his last show https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/ozzy...ergy-music-theatre-clarkston-mi-4be9ef8a.html i just want to see Fairies Wear Boots and Paranoid live one more time. I saw Sabbath on their farewell tour and I like their stuff way more than most of the stuff on there.
I love Beck and have always loved Beck. When Kanye invaded the stage AGAIN after Beck won album of the year, it solidified my hatred of all things Kanye. And to be clear, I don't think Beck's album was the best that year. Not to go on an unrelated tirade, but here I go: I really am starting to hate the wealthy, successful, musician/athlete complaining about how life is unfair. Kanye with his stage invasions, Serena Williams' tantrum at the US Open. Serena was getting her butt kicked before the penalties. The complaint about men getting away with a lot more on the court rang really hollow with me. Even if that's true, she was not playing in the men's tournament. Also, I'm pretty sure Nadal would have kept his mouth closed in a final after receiving a warning, before getting the point penalty and then a game penalty. The worst part of the whole thing was seeing Naomi Osaka, whose life-long dream was to play and beat her idol, Serena Williams in a final, crying (not tears of joy) as she rightfully won her first grand slam. Serena literally ruined her life-long dream because she wanted to throw a tantrum. Don't try and turn your tantrum into a civil rights debate. Their are plenty of real situations that deserve that attention 1000x more than her, i.e. Laquan McDonald or the John Burge victims that are still in jail.
