It's funny when Americans stereotype us like that, but as soon as me make them out as a wimpy hobbit in Green Street they moan. I thought it was quite a compliment, at least you were thin!

Perhaps the English are now stereotyping Americans as stereotyping them as that guy!:p

Do you guys actually realise how many people from overseas think that I live in a hut with a pet lion or cheetah? Alot, and I've never even even seen a cheetah in my life!

    Congrats!

Most of the games around here got canceled...we have over an inch of snow on the ground!

Usually it's at least 60-70 degrees at this time of year!

Today sucked, I went to play for the first time in a week since i was busy this week with tests, papers, and greek week, and five minutes into being on the pitch i deflect a ball right as I'm stepping, this turns my foot a bit so I land with my foot pointed at an odd angle and roll my ankle. Now it looks like there is a tennis ball in my ankle. :( sorry to bitch but thought I'd vent

by the way this is kind of random but I'm trying out for the CSU Soccer team and was wondering if any of you play or played for your school.

    OUCH! Remember RICE!

    RICE approach

Rest--You may need to rest your ankle, either completely or partly, depending on how serious your sprain is. Use crutches for as long as it hurts you to stand on your foot.

Ice--Using ice packs, ice slush baths or ice massages can decrease the swelling, pain, bruising and muscle spasms. Keep using ice for up to 3 days after the injury.

Compression--Wrapping your ankle may be the best way to avoid swelling and bruising. You'll probably need to keep your ankle wrapped for 1 or 2 days after the injury and perhaps for up to a week or more.

Elevation--Raising your ankle to or above the level of your heart will help prevent the swelling from getting worse and will help reduce bruising. Try to keep your ankle elevated for about 2 to 3 hours a day if possible.

I went to a party last night and everything I remember is a total blur, I got totally smashed and I've decided I am NEVER doing it again. My friend phoned me this morning to see how I was going - I didn't go home, I just passed out on the trampoline and woke up in the morning, still dressed in a bull black tie suit.

    HAHAH.
that reminds me of the summer when I passed out on my friends deck, right next to the pool.

I must admit my night last night was a little bit of a blur. Reel Big Fish played at my college, and when I was trying to get in to the show, the metal detector kept going off, and then the cop asked me how many beers I had already that night (come on man, only 1  ). and afterwards my friend and I played pong for a good amount of the night. I have videos on my phone of me rubbing it in his face that there were 3 beers left and he couldn't drink anymore.

R & dubs pimp hand is waaay strong.

if I had the usb cable for my phone, maaybe I would upload it.

I sent it to my best friend though, because last time he was here we played Tiger Woods and Wii bowling. I beat him in one of the Tiger mini games 14-2, and each time someone lost a whole you had to drink half a beer. and then for bowling, when your opponent got a strike, same deal. a spare was a quarter of one, and if you left an open frame you had to drink as well. He called that he would strike out in the 10th frame, and when he did I got pissed and went to bed. So he recorded videos of himself cheers-ing me while he finished the beers that were left.
