22-years old Takeru Okada signed for Polish First League side PGE GKS Belchatow from Cerezo Osaka. http://www.gksbelchatow.com/aktualnosc,692-takeru_okada_w_pge_gks.html
Jumpei Kusukami made his A-League debut for Western Sydney Wanderers against Sydney FC in front of over 60000 fans last week. They were outplayed but he was easily their best player.
Germany 4th division side (Regionalliga Südwest) FC 08 Homburg have signed former SC Freiburg II striker Kosuke Kinoshita. http://fc08homburg.de/start/alle-news/news-artikel/fch-verpflichtet-stuermer.html
Sorry if already posted, anyway it looks like former Gainare Masato Fukui has settled himself in Skënderbeu Korçë now, and they are currently at the top of Albania's first division.
http://www.soccer-king.jp/news/world/esp/20161011/502641.html Honda seems to be deepening his Spain relationships huh in short, on the 29th of october there's a giant trial for 18-19 yrs old. Those who succeed will go to "study" in Spain with a "former Atletico Madrid coach" @naopon near the end I see that it talks about a 1yr contract with a club for one season... but which one ? lol
That's not what it's saying, the ex-Atletico academy coach is going to be coaching/evaluating/advising the participants during the trial, which lasts for 3 hours. The top players will win financial scholarships to train in Europe, including a full year's worth for the "winner". (Do European academies charge their youth players fees?) Also, the venue of the trial is affiliated with Honda, but nothing about this particular venture is related to him. It's run by an agency that arranges for marginal Japanese players to "study abroad" in lower-tier UEFA leagues.
oh okay, I misunderstood that the coach was in Spain, thanks. You're right, re-reading it says that he will actually do the selection too. Btw: スペインのクラブチームと契約し、1シーズンプレーする権利を授与。
I just found out that there are 3 japanese players in Eerste Divisie actually. The first is Sai. The second is Naoyuki Yamazaki, a former Azul Claro midfielder. He was on trial at Telstar and made it. He's a regular now apparently. (congrats) The last is a player in VVV which I had no idea who he was. Name's Rintaro Tashima... ... and he's the son of the JFA's president, lolz. I'll leave it at that Special note: who remembers Stefano Lilipaly? I don't know what went wrong in Japan but he's actually having two excellent seasons back home.
Today there's an interview exactly with Yamazaki. Interesting article, so i'll sum it up. He's been the MVP twice already. He actually earned his first pro contract at 25y with this move! He recalls that he started getting into a slump near the end of his university career (Tokyo Gakugei University). He started off strong but basically only got penny minutes between september and november (this is 2014) . He was in FC Tokyo U18 before moving to Uni btw. So, after having a rough 4th and last university year, he couldn't get a pro contract. So he went with Azul Claro Numazu, with an amateur contract, while also working as a teacher in school. Got injured, and skipped 3 months. When he came back, he couldn't win a starting position anymore, and not even play. So, he was released at the end of 2014. On the 15th of January (2015) he flew to Finland. He posted a video to get attention However he had no confidence and not a good condition so he did not pass his trial (doesn't say the club but it was HJK). Came back in Japan and received some offers from amateur clubs, however he thought about quitting as he felt it was pointless this way. Around the end of June, he joined HBO Tokyo, a club that doesn't even have a Wiki apparently. We are in the 7th division I think, Tokyo's Metropolitan league, under the regional leagues. However, this is mostly because it seems to be a club that supports japanese who want to play overseas (obviously, in lower divisions). He worked in a hotel in the meanwhile. Fast forward to 2016, he gets an opportunity to trial at Miami United (National Premier Soccer League, 4th div. in USA). Seems that it was difficult to get the work permit, so he couldn't sign. However, he says that he felt his condition recovered. He also had started working with a physio after he left Numazu. In may, he returns to Japan. In june, he gets a trial in Telstar... and the rest is known
Minori Sato from Bunyodkor is joining QSL side Muaither. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/minori-sato/profil/spieler/155454 You don't see so often Japanese going in the Gulf. Morimoto to Al Nasr Dubai and other players? Don't remember. Also, Masuda from Ulsan has some offers from the ME, but the main contender to sign them are Jeju United, who wants to complete their foreign quota with an AFC player.
Kosuke Kinoshita terminates his contract with FC Homburg in Regionalliga to make a switch to Allsvenskan. His destination in Sweden hasn't been announced yet. http://www.sr.de/sr/home/sport/Kinoshita_verlaesst_fc_homburg100.html
https://www.hallandsposten.se/sport/hbk/hbk-s-japan-jag-vill-bli-som-ljungberg-1.4110385 apparently he already trained one week at the club last year. Newly promoted side
http://eltipografo.cl/2017/01/ohigg...reconocen-que-estan-cerca-de-perder-a-kimura/ Nozomi Kimura, a 19 year-old defender playing for Santiago Morning in the Chilean second division, is close to signing for O'Higgins FC, who will be appearing in 2017 Copa Sudamericana. Kimura, who has been called up for the Chilean U20 team, apparently also holds Japanese passport too, so would be eligible for the Japanese NT too.
Minori Sato was a regular starter at his club so far and finally yesterday delivered. Assist. Altough the goal has been lucky, but also earned the penalty.
