Not-so-famous Japanese Players Abroad \ Japanese players in minor leagues

The generic thread was for transfer rumors.

I think that it is much easier than going to two seperate forums to find out about players going abroad.

I think we should make the transfer thread in the j-league forum for domestic transfers only and have one here for potential transfers abroad.

 

Adding to what SB said another way to make what you said work is allow making a thread when a rumor to go abroad comes out RATHER THAN when the transfer is finalized but I think that will leave us with more unneeded or closed threads and what we have now might be the better of both worlds but I won't mind whatever.

18 years old Yuki Kumada joined Takafumi Akahoshi in Pogoń Szczecin. He trained with the reserves since May and today he signed a 1 year pro contract withe the club.

Just found this website. It's a good database of Japanese players abroad and seems up to date, some of their names links to their personal blogs or websites.

 

I've posted this before, but didn't find it in my favorites anymore so thanks . For the up to date data it's good to check the site's BBS.

Koki Kazama signs for Germany's Koblenz (4th tier).

 

Thanks sc-f he's an interesting 1 and I've been wondering what he'll do with a dad like him on his side so I continue to look on with interest.

 

Just saw that there is already a Japanese in Koblenz's team called Tokio Nakai. Right midfielder who scored 1 this season.

Also, Mönchengladbach U23 play in the 4th league (but already played against Koblenz) so there might be a chance for Kazama meeting Otsu.

Edit: In fact, there is also Ken Asaeda at Wuppertaler SV to make it potentially 4 Japanese in that league.

 

Sorry for being a little late with this one. Akahoshi scored an awesome goal (second in the video) and got two assists in Wednesday's game against Ruch Radzionków. His team (red shirts) won 5:1 and now sits on the 3rd place, point behind the leader.

Kohki Kazama debuted for Tus Koblenz (4th tier). No word about him in the report though and the guy on the photo is Tokio Nakai, not Kazama.

 

I read somewhere (think it was on twitter) from someone who was at the game saying Kazama's passing ability was on a different level from everyone else on the pitch and more or less every pass by him were applauded by the fans.
