This is kind of the story of the year, a boatload of ties when the team was outplayed

Hey, dude -- how does United fire Olsen after this? If only our A-hole owners would buy a Kljestan or a Wright-Phillips. A tie under this circumstance is amazing.

After extending their unbeaten streak to 11 games, they are booed off the field. Ha ha ha! Hamid MOTM for sure. Talk about stealing a point.

Well ******** me. My son and I are watching commiserating, trying to figure out the 10 players to protect for expansion and being challenged to get to 10 and then this. One thing, Neagle should start over Sam no questions asked or tolerated, the guy is a gamer, Sam isn't.

One thing - just don't give up another Tommy McNamara even if it's to protect Chris Pontius.

I don't expect DC United to do anything and it's made me a happier fan to accept that.

Bill Hamid is man of the match and even though he was at fault on the BWP goal he kept us in it long enough for the Red Bull to pull their traditional late game implosion.

I had little expectation of anything positive going into the match with Acosta out, and for the most part I was correct. I completely forgot about RiBNeY's ability to collapse like a bad soufflé. So that's a positive.

I still hate Marrufo. Not understanding how we get two soft yellows and they get nothing.

We'll take that Atlantic Cup, thank you very much.

What a choke job. Metro gonna Metro.

Hamid looked bad on that goal, but BWP was alone about five feet in front of him, so...

He sure made up for it, though.

That was a stunning finish. From about the 70th minute on I gave them no chance. It's a testament to the team that they didn't give up. But the overall performance was terrible. Although Nyarko played his worst game with DC, he's been a positive addition. Not so sure about Sam. Since I don't attend to the defense too much take this for what it's worth, but it seems to me Boswell really struggled the last two games.

With some perspective after gleefully watching Dallas lose at the JerryDome these are my thoughts.

I know this will sound very strange, but just before I woke up this morning I had a dream of a United player poking in the game tying goal against Red Bull at the death. Scary.

As for the game, this made Lucho Acosta's agent jizz in his pants. A very pedestrian first 88 minutes. Nyarko was OK, Mullins was invisible and Sam was dreadful. Marcelo played his usual game and both Vincent and Buescher were forgettable, but not awful. Hamid made up for the second goal many times over.

My schadenfreude with Klejstan knew no bounds. 2 posts and then the douchebag move to simulate a foul on Neagle and grab the ball. That alone was worth the price of admission.

As I said earlier, Neagle should start. The guy leads the team in goals and is a baller. He just doesn't quit and finds ways to score when it "should" be impossible.

If Franklin is hurt, DCU is ********ed big time. My son calls Mishu "Moo-Shu" which is appropriate. He is not the answer, he isn't even the wrong answer at right or left back. If Franklin is long term injured, it's Nicky at RB time at DCU.

At the half the LA-Orlando match is making today's point look pretty good.
