Their games were on the NISA website in July. https://www.nisaofficial.com/schedule That is from the league.
Oakland was apparently in, but they hadn't actually announced it. When the Roots pulled out of the Founders Cup, they said they were going to play a schedule of friendlies in the fall while applying for NISA membership for the spring. But then they ended up on the NISA Showcase schedule.
I guess they haven’t learned from past leagues. https://nisanation.com/2019/08/16/you-want-answers-august-16th-2019/
This thing where some new league - and it happens in most sports, it certainly did when the AAF came around, and now the XFL - starts and some bright boy will start a blog and just throw whatever into it to try and get clicks and some revenue, is stupid.
I’m liking how fast they’re expanding. Will most likely end up biting them in the ass. Like I said before they don’t seem to have learned from previous failed leagues. If someone is underfinanced or lacking in experience and vision, it doesn't matter how slowly you bring them in. The converse is also true. MLS has been criticized for the speed of its expansion, but they have not missed on many. Yes, this is D3, but these are the Palm Beach Breakers for hell's sake. They're a UPSL team.
Love that they are so proud they’re and open league and that all their teams are independent. Then go and sign a league wide jersey deal. NISA: Announces Kit Sponsorship Deal #NISAxHUMMEL pic.twitter.com/fzm8QJp6G9— NISA Official (@NISALeague) August 21, 2019
Denmark wears Hummel. Their jerseys all have Chevron stripes. A few mid-table teams in Euro leagues usually wear them.
They’re cutting it a bit close with signing players. Their first game is in two weeks. Highly doubt they’ll have enough players for a full bench by then. I am sure they will all be active in the transfer window they deliberately scheduled their seasons around.
This league will last about 4 seasons at the most. Any team not named Cosmos, Miami, Detroit and Chattanooga that is left will join USL-L1.
I don’t see the Cosmos ever joining NISA. Hell Commisso very well could close up shop this offseason.
