Awesome. I sent you an e-mail. I need a red shirt to wear to Germany next year (I hope).

Someone else had that in mind last night. Anyone see "Captain America" at the game?

Is the red shirt in Eurosport the same as the one in the US Soccer Store?

I'd love one and would be more than happy to pay the required shipping

Yes it is the same one, though I only see the white version there.

I'm going to put a hold on any further orders for shirts at this point, since I need to figure out how many I need to ship. I think I've gotten rid of almost 50 ... and I have to make sure I have that many to get rid of!

I'll post here if I get any more. If you're already gotten a PM from me with my address, you're hopefully all set. Sorry to everyone else ...

    Short Circuit is 'obscure'?

and I really much prefer the shield with the DTOM on the bottom. So it is official that we won't be seeing that on shirts then due to copyright and it will only be the snake and ball?

The DTOM manifesto is the back-cover advertisement for this week's ESPN Mag.

It's been the banner ad on ESPN.com all day long. Nike is really sinking some $$ into this. My only quibble is that they should have started it right before the Mexico match. As it stands, people enticed into the world of US soccer will have nothing to watch until January.

Now . . . if Nike maintains a high burn-rate on this campaign and runs it all the way through the WC next June, well, wow - I'll be really impressed. This is the PERFECT theme for an ad campaign to build up to the WC. I hope the team impresses-- we can add a lot of fans.

I think we as US supporters need to turn this into our version of the "Be the Reds" campaign. Nike has given us the popular medium. Now it's up to us to really make it a movement. Just buy the red shirts. Wear them all the time. Let's make it our official shirt to wear at matches. People will know what it's about if Nike keeps up with these ads.
