I had one too with Ménez winning the Champions League, as he scores the winning goal in the 120th minute, then kisses his red and white jersey while being mobbed by Armand Traoré, Serge Gakpé, Touré, among others. The ESPN commentators annonuce, "And with that, they will go on to do what they haven't done before, they will be champions of Europe. Congratulations to

    Arsenal." D'oh. :(

Be careful. He's incredibly talented - stronger than Kakà at the same age if I'd trust Ricardo ! - but totally immature. A little child you have to bottle-feed.

I agree with Catel, though he's actually improved, I think. Yes, he'll pick up cards very stupidly, but I believe he's trying to involve his teammates more now. In the past, he'd ignore many of them and try to dribble past 4 defenders to score. He'll do that once or twice in a game these days, though he'll also distribute to others.

all 3 for OL were royal, but the best one would have been the fast exchange benzema-källström-benarfa-baros-benzema, where either baros' last pass was a millisecond too strong or benzema a centimeter too late... that was awesome!

Nicest goals of the 21th day:
Fernando Cavenaghi (Bordeaux, vs Le Mans)

    David Hellebuyck (Nice, vs Nancy)

    Jérémy Menez (Monaco, vs Metz)

Menez's is pure class, the way he calls for the ball behind the defense, controls it, wipes the goalkeeper out and puts the ball into the net, he made me think of Kakà. :)

I was a big fan of Nasri's equalizer yesterday. Nice technique and composure on the ball.

how about the "nicest" non-goal? that would be KB trying to dribble the ball into the goal saturday. mrs. benzema, take away his PES privileges for two weeks!

There would not have been any competition if he had scored. Why had Ruffier to put his hands on the ball ?

The "enter in the goal with the ball" trick is an old soccer phantasm !

For the moment my top 3 would be:

    1) Steve Savidan (Valenciennes-Lens)
    2) Daisuke Matsui (Monaco-Le Mans)
    3) Mathieu Valbuena (Marseille-Caen)

I still vote for Matsui. This was an impossible shot. How he did it is still anybody's guess. Even the slow motion doesn't explain.

Of course, I'd like to vote for a Strasbourg's striker, but it's hard to appear in the nicest goal contest when you don't score any  .

Check the thread again, there's one or two Renteria's goals and a Rodrigo's heavy shoot somewhere :D
