Ducks finish off Flames in a hard fought game. That's a good team though so i think Flames should be very proud. Bright future.
Great game from Ramo, will be a very good goalie in the future. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us.
Hopefully this is the year where we'll get the Brady-Rodgers Super Bowl. In the state where they are both from.
It's quite massive yeah. I remember reading that Denmark is the country in Europa that is broadcoasting NFL the most. More than UK and Germany.
Hes not bad. He has no one to throw to other than Olsen right now and always has line issues. Give him a better line and healthy targets and let him work
These alerts are useless for most part. If i didn't come to this thread to check if anything was posted i wouldn't even see it. Also i'm not as much on here so yea.. They will do as well as the Flames. ...It looks like it will be another season of pain(although Babcock did say it'll be painful so..) What i hate the most is that the team is doing so much better in some areas but overall still not good enough. For example, structure is there, possession numbers are much better, compete level is better. Problem is now we have so many guys who play with heart but very little in terms of pure scorers. This is why so many games will be close but we'll lose them. On top of that, goaltending has really sucked so far(both goalies too). I saw most of the game Flames had against Rangers i believe and they impressed for most part but have some issues similar to last season(young and making some of those mistakes that come with inexperience). What i am really excited about is the next few years should be really good because there are 4-6 draft picks that are doing really well(in either Ahl, Whl, Shl or Ohl) and so future does look really bright. If we can draft another solid pick or two in this year's draft we'll be golden. How are you liking Flames so far this season? I'm noticing same patterns from Joe Colborne(once in awhile looks like he'll become a solid player but generally just doesn't have enough talent for a top 2 center role).
@MissNina , you watching all the Vikings games this season? There was a story on The Sports Network(here in Canada) on one of your qb's getting hit late and the coach looked really pissed off so i was curious to see what the standings looked like and noticed Vikings on top. Most of you guys are lucky that your teams are doing well, i gotta suffer at least a few years of pain before the young, talented guys come through.
We're 8-0 so far, think that's the first time in our history. Beat the heavily favorited packers yesterday too.
I'm trying to watch the games. That was a cheap and dirty hit this sunday but what do you expect when your def coach is Greg Williams. How that guy is still allowed to coach is beyond me. The Vikes and Fudgepackers are sharing the lead. We have been on a winning streak and hope it stays that way.
Finland beats their rivals(Sweden) at World Junior Hockey Championships. Canada out already(shitty team and coach this year). USA vs Russia at 1pm, winner takes Finland for gold medal game.
My friends say that this Finnish team is really good and that many of them are supposed to be drafted in the NHL soon. I also reckon that Russia will be the one to face Finland in the finals.
Yes they're very good. Seen a few games so far this tournament and they have 3-4 guys who have a very good shot in being draft pretty high in this year's NHL draft. Jesse Puljujarvi and Patrick Laine being the best 2. I think it'll be USA to face Finland as they have the top prospect in Austin Matthews(he'll most likely go #1 in the NHL draft), but besides that, they are also very deep team and Russia seemed to struggle against Denmark which isn't very strong. Anything can happen though so we'll see.
