he was a good fit before today and is still a good fit. the us pool is young and has options but there will be a lot of filtering through the mess the next two years as far as players and formations. that is exactly what he did with mexico and its worked great.

Osorio is not staying with Mexico even if he pulled a miracle and won the World Cup. The pressure around him is too toxic, and even with today’s performance I doubt frictions wouldn’t arise if he came back.
IIRC Osario rejected an extension offer from Mexico early this year. The word was that he was gone to new challenges regardless of the results at WC2018. His price likely just went up for anyone requesting his services.
