Sources tell @TheAthleticMIN that #MNUFC attacker Miguel Ibarra is on the shortlist for a USMNT call-up this fall. Ibarra last played for the national team in 2015 under Jurgen Klinsmann.— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) August 15, 2018
INBOX: #MNUFC will be opening TCF Bank Stadium to its full capacity for the home finale on October 21. The stadium’s capacity is 50,805 - more than 1,000 seats larger than the Kicks’ state-record crowd. pic.twitter.com/AlqYhqqRKv— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) August 15, 2018

Minnesota United CEO Chris Wright gives passing grades to Heath, Lagos, @theothermegryan reports. USL affiliate eyed for '19, possible U.S. women's national team game at Allianz Field. https://t.co/xdfZnTguTV pic.twitter.com/b974r5AL6B— Star Tribune Sports (@StribSports) September 24, 2018 ----------- Wright said the team will have “an interim affiliation agreement for 2019” with a USL team. “We are going to be very cautious relative to the length of period of time that we enter into any agreement,’’ he said. “In that, we really do believe that we do want to own the rights to a USL franchise sooner rather than later. ... Wherever we do go with that affiliation agreement next year, it will only be a one-year deal.” Wright said he has a number of teams in mind, but many are seeking a longer commitment than one year. With United wanting an in-house team of its own, the club will have to find a partner that is OK with a short-term deal. -------------
I will point out that, while still a passing grade, a C- is still pretty bad. (They get the C- for Darwin and Romario)
Note: #MNUFC is in advanced negotiations with Madison's startup club to be Loons' #USL affiliate in 2019, with a bigger step coming in 2020, a source said. https://t.co/7qHngkzPRI— Andy Greder (@andygreder) September 27, 2018
Just off the phone with Minnesota United CEO Chris Wright, who reiterated his support for Loons coach Adrian Heath and GM Manny Lagos in the wake of his "passing grade" comments to @theothermegryan last week. He said Heath and Lagos will be back in their current roles in 2019.— Sam Stejskal (@samstejskal) October 4, 2018

Some good news about the final game. Most likely the final game will have over 50,000. https://www.mprnews.org/story/2018/10/20/crowd-of-50000-watch-minnesota-united-last-home-game
I’m not sure where you’ve been, the game was 4 days ago. The announced attendance was 52,400 and some, although it seemed like there were less people there than that.
I know I was at the game this was a miss post i meant to post it before the game and did it by accident after.
