Without a USL affiliate at all this season, #MNUFC will send players to certain teams in that lower league based on need, best possible fit.— Andy Greder (@andygreder) February 28, 2017
Wahl stuff. lol http://www.twincities.com/2017/03/01/united-supporters-riled-up-over-low-expectations-for-mls-debut/ “You’ve got to understand that I have no negative feelings toward Minnesota United whatsoever,” he added. “And my predictions, if you look at them over the years, haven’t always been that great. I guess I was tickled about how serious and upset people got about it.” Wahl did put United supporters first in one category. “I can’t think of any other fan base that I’ve gotten quite to this level of blowback from,” he said. “Honestly, I think it’s a sign of the growth of MLS. Too often in the regular season, especially over the years, there hasn’t been enough passion from MLS fanbases. It kind of felt like there wasn’t enough at stake.”
#MNUFC announce FOX 9/My29 and 1500 ESPN will broadcast games this season.— Megan Ryan (@theothermegryan) March 2, 2017 Think this was obvious
No cable plus a radio station?!!? edit to add: I seriously hope the Loons never switch over to FSN, keeping it to local tv without needing a cable subscription will get them out in front of a ton of people.

Unfortunately this isn't the case for a lot of Minnesotans. my29 has a very limited range in the state and is pretty much just the cities and surrounding area. FSN has its downsides too though as at least half of the games would have been moved to the off channel for the Twins. Whatever the station, we have an uphill battle to spread MNUFC across the state but I have a feeling its going to follow a natural growth and we'll be looking pretty within a couple years.
My season tickets are here! My season tickets are here! Oh...not that kind of news. Sorry...carry on.

Looks like they were after Cronin for some time. Too bad we could not get a bit of this stuff done in the off-season. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2017...referral&utm_content=news&utm_campaign=unpaid
