At right back. Not a bad match.
NBCSN commentator - "This guy [Adama Traore] is the best sprinter in the Premier League."
At that exact moment, Yedlin sprints back into the box to strip the ball off Traore, who was on a clear path to Newcastle's goal.
That 5 man backline confuses me. I don't know if Yedlin is supposed to play inside of Fernandes or wing back...He seems to do both.
Maybe they were all confused on that Wolves goal.
As if on cue, Yedlin steps up to guard his invisible girlfriend, let's call her Molly, and Lescallelslsle, whatever, finds himself dreaming of his actual girlfriend, let's call her Molly, and Fernandes is absolutely no where in sight. Easy over the top goal.
Benitez you fat spanish waiter, hire me to coach your 4 man backline, that would be the first change.
I told you that back 5 confuses me.
Wow, Rondon rattles crossbar on free kick where ball almost crosses line and then a few seconds later delivers a great cross that is headed in for Newcastle goal.
1-1, nice header off a cross.
Rondon plays very, very quick for a big guy. He's a great find.
Nice goal from Newcastle there. A funny role reversal with Rondon serving Perez.
Camera angle has made it tough to watch Yeds this match. Especially off of the ball.
Anyone know why Kenedy and that striker, what has his name, Gale?
Why aren't those two guys playing?
He is impressive.
Pretty sure I'd rather have Rondon for $5mm than Lukakakau for 40 or whatever.
He's been winning everything in his area and works hard on the press. Boy needs to lose a couple, otherwise, he's going to a bigger club soon. So is Kenedy...whom I think is on loan anyway.
Gayle is no longer with the club.
Yedlin moves to CB? Rafa playing 4D chess.
hmmm, Yedlin is now in back 3 to start second half? RCB?
I'm even more confused now!
He is probably RCB-wingback fasle 9 dm.
And he's shown red for pulling down the last man...
Rafa looks pissed.
Wolves should attack down the left, isolate tall striker on Yedlin and send in crosses. He has trouble.
Oh dear. Yedlin gets himself in big trouble and then has to pull player down and gets red carded. I put that one on Benitez for thinking RCB could possibly have been a good idea. Lasted a whole 12 mintues and ended in disaster.
That is what I was expecting but Yedlin didn't last long enough
oh man. well, probably not a deserved a red card.
There might be some argument that Yedlin wasn't last defender but the giveaway and overall play was so poor, he deserved the red card.
Well, on with my day I guess..
Another argument is that the attacker had a fistful of Yedlin's jersey first, then when Yedlin did the same, went over.
No sympathy for Yedlin, he made a terrible error. But look at the replay. Who was grabbing who?
