I like the bomb-pop kits but I think the waldos were my fav. These just suck.

I loved the Bomb Pops, but I realize there were some people who didn't like it. You still see a lot of Bomb Pops at our matches, and its my "game" shirt for every match I attend. I'm hoping the situation with these new jerseys is similar.

When the Bomb Pops first came out I remember there was a pretty overwhelming negative reaction on here, but I don't think it was as overwhelmingly negative as the reaction to these 2 leaked kits. One thing with the Bomb Pops were I think they looked great on the players on the pitch as an entire kit, especially with the red shorts. I'm hoping the new jersey goes that way too.

As for this new stuff in general....I'm liking the new crest more and more. I got the limited edition scarf and I think the crest looks great on it. WAY better than the old crest to me.

Anyway, I'm getting the new home kit at least for sure for the Centenario.

When the bombs pops first came out I hated them, now that some time has passed I still hate them. They look good just the shirt on fans but as a whole kit on the players they were an abomination. Don't understand people's love for the bomb pops. Put me in the Waldo's forever group

I thought the Waldos were fantastic as a team kit, and a little less so as fan wear.

It's not surprising with all the different opinions as we all have different ideas of what looks good. But I agree on the Waldo, my favorite all time and wish it was our permanent home kit. I hate all the sashed kits and the denims are what I consider an all time terrible jersey of any team anywhere at any time. I'll continue wearing my World Cup Bomb Pop at every match until I find one I like better or it falls apart from washing all the spilled beer off it after every match.

The bomb-pops screamed baltic republic, which a US shirt should never do. They seemed distinctly un-american which is why I hated them.

I'm not opposed to a kit with a sash but the huge pageant sash they put out was terrible. The U.S. Has had more bad kits than good kits in the last few years

I wouldn't get too excited about the training tops, guys. They are just generic templates for every team. Not a unique design to the US.

    They're not bad looking, though.

Still hate the seal, though, so no merch for me. I'll wait 'til June and get a Sounders jersey on Pike before I go to Juneau.

Oh I knew it was the same template as the England pre match shirt, just saying its looks more like a US shirt than than the actual jerseys

I hear they do! And in a gesture to the many disappointed fans, it is this:

Nike has really dropped the ball with both the home and away jersey. To me a national team should rep the colors of the flag prominently. The white home kit could be awesome if they stick to the flags blue as sleeves, the black ones I hate. However with the way teams have alternate kits, I could see the black ones as a third option for money. Like others to me they should keep the waldo jersey as the permanent home kit. Ill wait and see the final releases, but not a fan of the leaked images.

I thought Nike's big thing is the swoosh. The hell is with the sleeve stripe/stripe underneath the arms and down the side? Every one of their shirts has it now. Looks so 1980's, like the old Montreal Expos uniforms back in the Gary Carter days.

So basically Nike is not using any colors from the flag for these jerseys...besides white.

These jerseys definitely smell like the result of some focus group crap. Maybe it is the same focus group that brought us Atlanta United FC.

This is what people that are smart figure out.

    It's not bad.

Its the crest that makes it look worse, IMO

Why Royal blue? Why not Navy blue? That'd improve it immensely.

oddly I think it IS navy, but with the thin white stripes, the color comes out looking like a Chicago flag.

I also got to see this thing on my run tonight after being out of town for a while.

It makes me miss the old black and gold sign they had up in its place.
