It is an understated, distinctive, and classy way of alluding to our flag. Instead of 13 stripes or gaudy stars, there is one red stripe. Beautiful. The blue shorts finish it off nicely.

if you can't get my humor, please don't be offended, but when I see this...

"Beautiful. The blue shorts finish it off nicely."

I can't help but think of Hollywood in Manequin

I personally like most of Germany's even if they are usually a little boring.

I'll like ours a hell of a lot better when we've got three stars on 'em like you guys do.

Am I alone in liking the Korea kit? I loved that one. Simple, athletic, and modern (and a great shade of blue). Never as cool as Italy, but, well, Italians frankly deserve the coolest kit in the known universe, they're Italians...

Oh, and that Korea kit is by far the most comfortable shirt I have to wear when it's hot. I run in that thing, I work out in that thing, I wear it when it gets around 100 degrees. It's great.

I picked up this shirt the other day at a Marshalls store for less than 20 bucks. If you live in the tri-sate area or near a Marshalls or Tj Maxx go in and check they have some soccer stuff pretty cheap.

I stopped at four Marshall's in Connecticut and all I found was the retro white one that ties at the collar. I was actually looking for a coat but I checked the jersey racks anyway and found a couple Juve shirts, some MLS stuff, and a Barcelona track jacket. I'd wish those stores had the ones with the red sash.

It's not authentic, but right now we don't have enough money for the real deal. I will take care of it, though. I will hand wash it and put it to bed with a hug and "good night" every evening. :)

that one looks decent. A lot better than the one I got this summer. unfortunately, the sellers who made absolutely immaculate knockoffs are no more. "gimako", "adkinson", "tohome". I picked up a celtic 3rd jersey a few years ago and it's almost impossible to tell it from the real thing.

and if you keep an eye on a seller called "troyda", he has some authentic MLS shirts for 30 bucks. I just got a DC away jersey last week.

Is it possible that our new shirt will look similar to this?

    Ebay - Brazil Ronaldo Shirt

Even though this is a real template for the Nike Total 90 Jersey, it could very well be a fake design for the new national team jerseys. But it is a possibility...

I doubt it. nike makes a template every year, but only releases new NT jerseys on the "even year" templates. The black ManU away shirt is an example of nike's 03 template that never got made into national team jerseys.

my wish list for the new USMNT jersey:

    - the 'don't tread on me' logo over the heart
    - the snake wrapped around the ball embossed on the front of the jersey
    - white home, blue away, red alternate (white shorts)
    - haven't decided yet on collar or no-collar
    - eventually, a little star over the 'don't tread on me' logo

I just really want it to say "USA" and not "US Soccer".

Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Ross stores always have cool soccer stuff in stock.

Some friends found one store selling the 03/04 LA top for $12
Another found the 05 LA top for $20

I found an German NT warm up top/jacket for $20, red nike tops with long sleeves for $10 (looks like old Liverpool kit, but with 2005 jersey material), and a bunch of adidas and nike practice tops for no more than $8.

its a gold mine in there

    It isn't

after WW II, the first team willing to play Germany was Ireland, so in honor of that, Germany's away kit became Green.

Definitely a much better crest than our current one!! Our current crest looks like the logo for a cartoon force of superheros from 1985. Complete with rocket ball...

I think that USA crest should always be used. Maybe add the snake, but keep the "USA".
