I posted the pics...so I tried it on in my house. I pre-ordered this from MLS.com with express shipping and it arrived today. So, no source to rat out. I'll keep it under cover at XFinity tonight until the team does the unveil, but then it is worn proudly.

 

That looks like an incredibly boring practice jersey. I'm so glad they kept it secret for so long. I won't be purchasing it in the near future.

 

Whoever made the decision to ship these before the unveiling is an idiot.

 

best part of the jersey, BSFC logo is on the INSIDE under the Union crest. Classy.

 

Being from Bethlehem this is probably as close as I'll get to a real BFC jersey I'm sold.

I feel like it would be a lot cooler if BIMBO was white, oh well, it's not bad. At least I got my black and white wish, haha.

 

But they did incorporate the Steel amazingly.

 

I would like the Bimbo logo in blue but that could just be me. The red definitely stands out.

 

So a plain black jersey with white trim?
That isn't even classily monochrome due to the red bimbo wordmark and green MLS logo.

It's just boring. Even if it was a black version of the deep V mockup, it would be so much better. And seeing Colorado's 3rd, if they had sublimated the Bethlehem B on wearer's left, and the union shield in the right, like the touring jersey, that would have been excellent.


Instead this just looks cheap and boring.

 

I LOVE the new shirt. Absolutely love it. Crisp. Class. Homage. I hope they complete their kit ala Bayern Munchen's CL road kit.

 

Hopefully someone with a good camera or smart phone is close enough to the unveiling to upload a good shot. I look forward to being disappointed in the new design, unfortunately.

I really appreciate the nod to BSFC as a Lehigh Valley boy. Guarantees I will own one...

My favorite of their third shirts since the white kit a few years back. Simple, strong, classy.

But the V-neck certainly is reminiscent of the Bethlehem Steel jerseys, so it fits well.

So white shorts it is.
