Travis county could take action against Austin for giving tax abatements (county) beyond their authority. Though a side deal/payoff seems likely here. Not a deal breaker.

PPP does a push poll on McKalla, 55%-30% against after the neutral first question. 57%-29% against after the pushes. Someone willing to pay for a poll might be willing to bankroll a signature drive with encouraging results.
