So you're going to throw your lot in with a real estate developer whose whole business model is based around increasing rents and property prices to maximise profits.

Trump won't try and help you, he'll do the opposite.

Forget about Trump because he just got there and he is not a politician. This nations problems are not his doing.

Bernie Sanders has been in public office for 38 years. What has be done for his constituents exactly other than talk?

    That's insane.

Don't expect the government to help you, though. They are complicit in all this.

plenty which is why he is the most popular Congressional politician in the country amongst his own constituents. Y'know the people who know him the best.

No I can understand that. Someone like indestructible for example is generally very forthcoming about his views. You on the other hand dither when I ask straightforward questions. You don't seem very confident in your political beliefs.

The solution is new establishment, with new people, who were born in normal countries: Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, old EU members (12 countries). Or at least whose parents, grandparents were not Communist Party members, who didn't had personal sympathies for that party. Establishment of those, new values, authentic capitalists, not those who try to adapt and walk in darkness. But this isn't possible to do. Countries of ex-Yugoslavia will always have people whose origins are from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dalmatia, islands, who will use seductive and populist sentences and attract naive masses. Accented religious manifestations, where ex-socialists try to be big Roman Catholics.

    https://www.lonelyplanet.com/articles/best-christmas-market-europe-zagreb

Guess who is the major of Zagreb?
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milan_Bandić

Read the political parties, on the right side.

That's why communism is funny. Everything becomes accented with communism: atheism, state ownership, after that private ownership, accented religious feelings, accented liberalism, democracy. All in one person, whatever position they hold.

Try to read who is in power in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro...the same thing. At east, read the texts, before you start to accuse capitalists in advance. How can you blame someone, if they were never present since 1990. Child from elementary school knows how to read, see the numbers, the years...I don't have to know anything academic, scientific, or even visit such states. Everything is online. Can't believe that you became so admired with communism, like it heals blindness, lifts people from wheelchairs. Only nice theoretical words about commitment of working class. Europe today doesn't have working class at all. Machines replaced them. That's why socialists lose badly in Europe (in normal countries). Only in ex-Yugoslavia, ex-Soviet Union socialism struggles and it survives always. When people vote in party elections (members), they all get paper instructions, which people should they pick. Members probably pick people who they don't know. When they vote for something, members only know for what to vote because the key people vote for that. There are no votes for: Nay, No, Against.

If you and me have a construction company, you would get the state project, just because you are familiar with the chairman of state institution, even though I have more vital projects, more employees, better machines. If one private company applies for EU funds, he can't get what he wants, because he isn't familiar with key people. With lost assets, his company ends in debts, problems, lost jobs...those who are familiar with key people, they get everything, debts are tolerated, because their familiar key people know the key people from banks, that give nicer loans, with lower rating. When state institutions want to have cars for their services, they buy the cars from acceptable companies. Maybe every 3,4 years, so that they help to those companies. If you are in power, imagine how your child might fail the test exams in schools, universities? Such children will pass anything. You can invent so many examples, how things work in socialism. Interior design for state company offices. Lets hire our guy, he has furniture store of exclusive design. His grandfather was our member before 1990's. Someone else, who brought the money from Canada, Germany, France...if he opens the furniture store, he can't get the public concourses for the same cause: equipping the state company offices and waiting rooms. You can't even sell sausages at Advent if you don't own acceptable butcher shop, or they all just buy the cheap ones and give to their friends the Advent houses, so that they earn.

Continue with communism admiration. I'll let you know when I notice the capitalism in ex-socialist countries. Still waiting....:whistling:

They say that he opened 4,9 millions of working places.

It seems that life is better in USA, compared with 2008 World Crisis. Nobody wants help from politicians. People want higher salaries, better jobs. You are constantly making the sentences with socialist mind. We don't need help, if we have 3000 USD salary, we will fix our teeth with that money. But when we have 1600 USD and when we have to work 3 jobs, than we have a problem with paying our bills. People, residents should be independent and decide alone: should they make medical treatments in private clinics, or somewhere abroad. Socialism creates people that depend on the state, givings, food coupons, free medical care, they visit party rallies, they clap with their hands, shake hands of their leaders, just so that they get something.

As bad or as good as Trump is, I thank God every day that he is the president as opposed to Hilary Clinton or Obama , for that matter.

Again , Donald has been there three years and call him whatever you want but what have all them including Joe Biden ever done in 50 years of public life? What about Nancy Pelosi? What has she ever done that anyone can boast or speak of?

Please anyone list one thing any of them did.

  12. Ahem, the Mayas had cities with inhabitant numbers bigger than the biggest European cities and the Incas and the other Andes people had cities that were better organized than the European ones.

The Mayas collapsed by 900 on its own. Those cities were no longer in existence when the Spaniards came. Small pox and other diseases took out a good deal of the population of the Incas but their own fighting within did not help them either. The Western Hemisphere was for the most part open land.

  16. So? It was about non existent open space. The Spaniards ramsacked the Azteca cities which were as big as the Maya ones and bigger than the European cities.

Those are only two examples. The rest of the Americas did not have such civilizations and were indeed inhabited by nomadic tribes. The oldest building in Canada only dates back to the 1600's and was built by the French. There were no cities in what is now Canada and the U.S.

You like to avoid the direct questions, the exact theme, the exact geographic part.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emomali_Rahmon

    Follow the steps....follow the timeline....

"As rising apparatchik in Tajikistan, he became a chairman of the collective state farm of his native Danghara. According to his official biography, Rahmon graduated from the Tajik State National University with a specialist's degree in Economics in 1982. After working for several years in the trade union of the Lenin Sovkhoz in Danghara, Rahmon was appointed chairman of the sovkhoz in 1987."

"In 1990, Rahmon was elected a people's deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the Tajik SSR."

"In 1994, a new constitution reestablished the presidency. Rahmon was elected to the post on 6 November 1994 and sworn in ten days later."

"Following constitutional changes, he was re-elected on 6 November 1999 to a seven-year term, officially taking 97% of the vote."

"On 22 June 2003, he won a referendum that would allow him to run for two more consecutive seven-year terms after his term expired in 2006."

"Rahmon was re-elected for a seven-year term in a controversial election on 6 November 2006, with about 79% of the vote, according to the official results. On 6 November 2013, he was re-elected for the second seven-year term in office, with about 84% of the vote, in an election that the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe said had lacked a "genuine choice and meaningful pluralism"."

"In December 2015, a law passed by Tajikistan's parliament gave Emomali Rahmon the title "Founder Of Nephew Unity and Debt , Leader of the Nation"

"On 22 May 2016, a nationwide referendum approved a number of changes to the country's constitution."

"In January 2017, Rustam Emomali was appointed Mayor of Dushanbe, a key position, which is seen by some analysts as the next step to the top of the government."

"In November 2018, Rahmon launched hydroelectric station to solve problems."

According to you, this is a capitalism? From sovkhoz (whatever this means) to hydroelectric station.

Communism is a product that doesn't have the words: "Best before" on the package. I would like that you buy one way ticket for Dushanbe, so that you finally enjoy in your own view.

You can also visit Aral Sea, as tourist.

You could be enlightened, progressive....at least you could avoid the promotion of something that is useless for humanity, wherever people live.
It's the same in all post-Soviet Union and post-Yugoslav states.

The Spaniards had a sophisticated satellite system that gave them GPS technology to target the Aztec cities. Pretty remarkable for that period of time.
