You don't follow from his world pov he creates his videos from. Cows don't roam the forests of Europe ffs and are apart of agriculture which as stated above he is against. His local is growing fruit and veg in summer months in the climate that allows it but hunting deer, boar, fish etc in winter. That's his local and that's his sustainable with no need for fossil fuel or destruction of land or water.

La Magica are you promoting a mass genocide of the human population so that we can live 'sustainably'.

If you're not maybe we should focus on how to manage the 99.9% of the population that doesn't live that way.

Only way we could do what you're proposing is via central planning (ie will never happen in a free market economy). Environmental sustainability is not something that comes into consideration when one is trying to maximise profit.

I'm not promoting anything. I'm explaining to you why he says local eating is the sustainable system going forward and its because he believes a system collapse is inevitable. I don't know the future but I wouldn't rule anything out and say it's got no chance of happening either.

of course you're not. I'm just saying that his "solution" is a pipe-dream and barely worth the keystrokes we've wasted on it.

People won't starve and die. They'll just gradually be forced to eat less and less of what is unsustainable and their diets will adapt. And based on the current rate of species extinction by that point there'll be barely anything left to hunt.

Playing devil's advocate, in a world post fossil fuel how can you say for sure they wouldn't? Huge city populations are built based on a globalist economy that can support it with food being transported from all over the world. People have the luxry today to work beyond just survival.Within a week, its from field to the supermarket anywhere in the world thanks to aircraft and boat. If that went, then his worldview doesnt seem too far off.

because we have alternative energy sources

the fossil fuel industry is propped up by subsidies also. And i know that alternative energy gets government help but it is limitless and on current price trajectories will soon be cheaper.

    Oh man, too priceless.

You zealots haven't considered local grass fed beef, bison, etc as a solution. It's only a problem because people eat too much of the poorly raised livestock in the first place. The problem is that you can't imagine when it happens to the grains that you consume too much of.

What about your low hanging fruit diet plan?

Especially the ones who aren't fit enough to survive, the low hanging fuit kind :)

As of right now there is nothing that can come close to fuel for flying. It will be interesting to see how electric planes develop but the best they have so for developed can reach about approx 600 miles and carry a smaller number of passengers. Cargo planes to support a globalist economy is a whole different level.

LIBERALS ARE 2.5 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO BE VEGAN THAN CONSERVATIVES
The 2018 Gallup Poll found that liberals identify with the ideals of veganism more than conservatives.

    Are you shocked Signore?

Who really cares? I’m sure whomever paid for it or whatever the cost, it had to be less than the $150 billion in cash Obama gave to Iran. Or for that matter, the billions of tax payers money to help countries who can care less about the USA.
