It's times like these when this board could really do with a negative rep feature. For posting that godawful video you would have earned it.

"Maddow claims the protection of 1st amendment for publishing Trump’s leaked/stolen tax returns. Fine. But she should apply the same standard to the DNC/Podesta emails, which she and the rest of the MSDNC crew continue to refer to as 'stolen.'"

US says it carried out deadly strike that hit Aleppo mosque
Military officials have confirmed to Airwars that a strike in rural Aleppo which reportedly left dozens dead in and around a mosque was carried out by US aircraft.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based monitor, said that at least 42 people, mostly civilians, were killed in a strike that “targeted a mosque in al-Jinah village” in the western countryside of Aleppo on March 16th. “The death toll is expected to rise,” said the monitor.

A bust of one of the worst mass murderers in human history is acceptable? Meanwhile in the countries that actually had communism, the statues are toppled over.

Are you talking about the famines associated with the agricultural reforms?

Yes. As well as the Red Terror campaign, the deportations, the concentration camps. The Red Terror alone puts him in a class of his own.

Yes, Lenin. You can include Trotsky as well for that time period.

Lenin was a revolutionary. The experiences of Europe in 1848 show us that revolutionary wars are often bloody, violent affairs. Lenin also fought a civil war (wealthy people with lots of resources to fight resisted) and was also forced to consolidate power quickly because the West (who had no business in Russia) invaded in 1918.

Those Middle Eastern cultures contributed so much to civilization and then Islam came around several hundred years ago and since then... Zip, zilch, nada.

The Catholic Church did something similar with the trials and burning of books in Western Europe etc.

Sure. But there's no comparison between what "westerners" have contributed to technology and the sciences and to what middle easterners have contributed over the last thousand years. The number of people from that part of the world winning a Nobel Prize in any science is like 3-5. Ever. In like 100 years. And they give out buckets of those things.

So Rep. Schiff, the Democrats and liberal are going off on Rep. Nunes because he shared the revelation of surveillance against the Trump transition team with Trump and the press before he shared it with his committee. Schiff is trying to cover for Obama with this deflection. ObamaGate is for real.

hows that ratio work on a per capita basis I wonder. You need to keep in mind that as westerners we tend to be have a western biased view towards our history. ie We adopt western customs etc and so tend to look more favourably on the antecedents of them.

And hasn't the West's chequered military history in the Middle East been an issue for roughly 100 years. WWI was fought over access to ME oil reserves.

    the deep state is real.

...now the fbi is saying that trumps people were working with the russians hours after nunes spoke.
this won't end until trump gets impeached/resigns.
