No the calabrese way is halfway paint the wall and then wait until you have enough money to pay the ‘ndrangheta for the right to finish painting it
Some stadium news: Starting the 2019-2020 season, the stadio Atleti Azzurri D'Italia in Bergamo will have its name changed to Gewiss Arena. They have also released a new render of the interior of stadium. Work on the stadium upgrade is rumored to begin in 2019
Empoli President confirms that they will break ground in November of this year. They want to have their stadium done for the 2020 season which will be Empoli's centenary http://www.pianetaempoli.it/nuovo-stadio-prima-pietra-novembre/
Venezia's president have announced that they will present a new stadium concept for the team in June. Last year they teased their fans with this rendering created by renowned Rossetti Architects of Detroit. I think the new presentation will be a version of this. http://nuovavenezia.gelocal.it/vene...giugno-presentiamo-il-nuovo-stadio-1.16782520 I like the Venezia project for a couple of reasons. For starters the stadium will also include a mall, shopping areas etc so the site becomes a tourist attraction in a city that gets roughly 4 million tourists a year.
Mayor: ‘Milan want a new stadium’ By Football Italia staff The mayor of Milan reveals Milan “are still looking for areas” for a new stadium, while Inter still want to stay at San Siro. The Nerazzurri had been planning to build a new training ground in the green area Piazza d’Armi, but didn’t turn up to a meeting today to discuss what to do with the area. “I didn’t hear from any of the parties, but I hoped for Inter’s participation,” Giuseppe Sala said as he left the meeting. “I hope, since their interest was real, that they can sit down with the owners of the area and find a solution, because it seems strange to me that the interest Inter showed for many months vanished in an instant. “San Siro? Milan are still looking for areas, because unlike Inter they expect to build a new stadium. “I’ll say to the people of Milan that we’ll try to find a solution before the summer holidays, then if it’s not possible we can say we tried. “It would be a shame though, because San Siro isn’t up to the level of the stadiums in other international cities, even though it’s a very charming structure. “A new stadium could also be useful for the city.”
Stadium updates: Progress from Trieste: All old seating removed and field being re-done. Also I read that some of the barriers will also be removed. This is going to be a decent stadium when all said and done for the U21 tournament next year This is a schematic of how the seating will look like when done Cesena: Similar work being done in Cesena in preparation for the U21's next year.
Work has begun for the SPAL stadium upgrade: Also Parma have started a little upgrade of their own. They're replacing all the older seating with yellow ones. Now if only they'd remove those awful ********ing barriers.
Official: San Siro to be renovated By Football Italia staff The City Council of Milan has confirmed that San Siro will undergo ‘extraordinary’ renovation work, to be completed by 2020. Inter and Milan have long been linked with new stadia, but it appears both clubs will be tied to San Siro for at least the next two years. “The technical committee for the use and management of the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium and related services have approved the annual routine maintenance programme and plan of work for extraordinary maintenance and innovation of the stadium, to be carried out by June 2020,” read a Press release. “It confirmed the annual relaying of the pitch, plus other procedures, such as the lighting of entrances, a new operations centre for police, sealing of the first tier, redevelopment of electrical systems and rebuilding the first-tier toilets. “The stands and executive boxes in the first tier will be modernised, plus there will be a new lounge for the club museum, increase in commercial spaces, construction in the red stand’s first tier of a fourth executive box and new media areas, as well as the renovation of the square outside the stadium.” ------------------------------------------- Little renovations that will tally 15 million.
Venezia have finally presented their new stadium plans. The idea is to have the stadium close to the Marco Polo airport. It would seat 18k people with the possibility to expand to 25k The project would cost up to 200 million and would include hotel and shopping area.Very ambitious project IMO.
Bologna have revised their stadium concept because the price tag would have been higher than starting from scratch. The new plan is to have the stadium constructed in phases without interrupting games. No updated renders have been created yet. In the meantime, Bologna have completed the seating color change that started last year. This is in preps for the U21's next summer. Gives a nicer effect. If only they'd remove those disgusting barriers now.
Now if only Napoli would get one lol. And no ADL, not one that holds only 30 ********ing thousand either lol
