Meanwhile in Naples: Work will begin shortly on removing those disgusting pink seats to replace with new blue ones It's not much, but a start
Also some movement for Lazio. Lotito will re-present his Stadio Delle Aquile to the city of Rome in June. He has refused any offer from the city to buy the Stadio Flaminio (which could have been an excellent home for them). His only hurdle is that the current land where the stadium is to be built (which he owns) is used for emergency irrigation for the tiber. These designs were originally drafted in 2005 and will probably be the exact same. It will be comical if Lazio break ground before Roma
It wouldn't be so bad to work with them. Some percent of surnames, have Arabic (Saraceni) origins. Just like in Spain, Portugal. https://amareunmusulmano.forumfree.it/?t=73383355 http://www.pacinieditore.it/dizionario-cognomi-italiani-origine-araba/ http://www.trapaninostra.it/libri/V...a/Supposte_origini_dei_cognomi_in_Sicilia.htm http://www.trapaninostra.it/libri/V...a/Supposte_origini_dei_cognomi_in_Sicilia.pdf I doubt that they would follow the needs of the fans, in matter of creating domestic talents and giving chances to them. If Roma becomes sold, it means: very expensive players, who wouldn't be attached with Roma. On the other hand, Juventus, Inter, Milan would get more competition. The question is, what would happen in the Champions League? Maybe the same, just like with PSG and Manchester City earlier. I'm always for domestic development, where fans could attach with players from their environment. I noticed that Juventus changed their coat of arms, instead of the old insignia, now it's only the letter J. Sponsor demand? It should look just like in 1905. or at least some closer version.
When talking about foreign owners not being interested in creating domestic talent, one has to remember the home-grown player rules in Serie A that require at least 8 players in a squad of 25 to have sent 4 years being trained by an Italian club by the age of 18, at least 4 of which must have been trained by the club for which they play.
I think Italians will work with whoever has $$$ For Rome specifically, any new owner would have to be stupid to buy now while the stadium situation is such a disaster.
In an amazing turn of events, the city of Roma have now rescinded their approval for the Stadio Della Roma. Rivolta 5S sullo stadio della Roma, vince il fronte del no. Vertice senza telefoni https://roma.repubblica.it/cronaca/...onte_del_no_vertice_senza_telefoni-223839761/ ------------------------------------------- This whole situation will be studied in future text books as a great examples of the absolute failure of Italian bureaucracy
Latest render making the rounds for the proposed Bentegodi upgrade: Looks like another frankenstadium
This was a San Siro re-design project that was proposed by Erick Thohir a couple of years ago. A sensible low cost solution that wouldn't necessitate the demolition of the current stadium. I'm guessing that this was done with the idea that Inter would buy the San Siro. I think this is still not a bad idea
If Lazio were smart which I doubt why not purchase the Flaminia do what Juve did and do a renovation make the seating capacity at approx 35000 which Ithink is a decent size for that club and there doushbag supporters I
Spurs new stadium generates approx 900k a game https://www.calcioefinanza.it/2019/04/26/tottenham-ricavi-nuovo-stadio/
