Cause Portland was new, so I don't think they got a new primary/secondary shirt this year. They got a third. No idea about RSL, is it possible they, too, got a new primary/secondary for 2011, rather than for 2012?

If the Revolution were ever to go to the trouble of paying homage to the New England Tea Men with the design of a third kit, I'd prefer that they actually use the Tea Men's colors.
Were there long sleeve version of the new jersey at the launch event? I've always wanted a long sleeved jersey seeing as I have non.
While watching last night's game was my first time seeing the new uniforms on the field. I like everything about them... except the white at the bottom of the sleeves. It looks entirely out of place. Hope to see the white ones in one of these preseason games.
I like the shirts but the shorts look mismatched with them. They should have went red down the side to continue with the red on the side of the jersey to they match up. I agree also with the white on the sleeves. Not a fan at all
Also agree on the oddness of the white. In fact, I think it's odder than the silver was. Blasphemy! Maybe I'm sub-consciously justifying my silver-armed shirt purchase. Kevin D.
That ain't gonna happen at this stage. Plus, even if they did do that, they would have to change the white piping along the bottom of the shirt, as that would interrupt the vertical red bar there would be.
I'm completely underwhelmed after seeing these new kits in action. * The white inserts on the sleeves are as distracting as the silver inserts used to be. * I'm also not a fan of how large the red panels are on the sides of the jerseys. Frankly, I don't mind the use of white striping on the shorts. What makes the white on the shorts seem so out of place is how much damned red is present down the side of the jerseys.
And this is exactly why I LOVE this jersey, they put some thought into it and it represents visual that the fans have used to represent the team
