Silverbacks posted pics of the new main field on their FB page today. The new turf will be ready for this weeks game.

Very cool! I thought they were supposed to be getting a new field and it didn't look so new on the live webcast of their home games.

Is this "turf" artificial or natural?

It's one of the only FIFA-approved artificial turfs made. It's a good surface.

Do you happen to know what that surface (brand name) is?

I am almost positive it is FieldTurf. At least, that's what it was before.

Where do people park, it looks like there is not many parking spots available in the Google picture.

Parking is in the small lot next to the stadium and then on the other fields, since they aren't in use during the team's games.

    Re: Asp

That is going to damage the fields, but I guess that means people are going to the games so a good problem to have.

I do see a empty dirt spot and the end of silver back way, I assume people also park there.

Between the parking lot and the empty field I can see about 200-250 cars being able to park, the rest I guess would have to go to the practice fields. I assume it could get pretty muggy when it rains.

Yes people park in the dirt field on the south side of the stadium. The practice fields are all artificial turf I think so that helps on rainy days and won't damage the fields much.

The "dirt" field is more like moon rocks. The entire upper practice field used to be a rocky parking lot. The only disadvantage to parking on the practice fields is for tail gating no fires are allowed. So grills have to be set up on the edge and the smokers are banished to the rocks.

Maybe the Silverbacks will have some more company at the stadium.
