It's not official but it's pretty certain as Felipão's contract ends after the World Cup and CBF has already had initial contacts with Tite (so it doesn't mean yet that Tite will necessarily be Felipão's replacement).

Has there been any detail on what kind of studying Tite has been doing in his sabbatical?

I thought Germany renewed Low's contract for the Euros already, at least Ian Darke said that.

I've been wondering this too. The only thing I heard was from Vickery where he said Tite told him he could never coach in Europe because he can't learn a foreign language and that he doesn't think he could do a good job without mastering that country's language. It is disappointing but his man management is excellent so I understand it.

I'm hoping he will become slightly more flexible tactically. At the very least, we known Tite will bring a modern system and approach to the team and the way he coaches defense requires you to be tactically sound and discipline.

    A few questions:

    Does he rate Fred?

How much European football has he been watching?

I'm going to assume he will use Willian in that Jorge Henrique/Romarinho role. He's played Sheik up top alone before, so Neymar could certainly be played there...

I want to know how many European lgs he watches. Just judging by his personality I'd assume a lot but you never know in Brazil..

If we were to consider foreign coaches, I would go all out to get Bielsa.

He just got a juicy contract from Marseille. I doubt we will get a foreign coach until I see it.

Bielsa at Marseille just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I'm pretty eccentric myself but after a year of his bs any highly paid athlete is going to start calling him out on his bs. It ended so ugly in Atletico especially with the way he treated Llorrente. He completely lost his team after they lost the copa del rey because he criticized them for not caring enough and felt they weren't distraught enough by losing a cup final. He really doesn't have the finesse or mentality to coach a club team in Europe for over a year.

Bielsa is too stubborn with his tactics and I doubt we ever go with a foreign coach anytime soon.

Remember Low is under pressure because since 1996 Germany has been the bridesmaid and not the bride!!! A screw up on Friday and we will see Low on a plane trying to stay in 1st class and telling the flight attendant...'help me I'm poor'!!

Tite went to Europe in the end of the season, watched several games there, talked with other managers, I think he is better prepared than most Brazilian managers and better prepared than Scolari too.

I guess Deschamps will stay on with France since they're the host for Euro'16

Leanardo will be an excellent choice for Brazil. He did a good job at Milan and Inter with the limited resources he had.He also did his part in the PSG project.
He even made Ronaldinho and Pato play well and score goals. That is something nobody was able to do after his departure.

I don't think Leonardo has enough experience to manage Brazil, he also seems too 'European', probably doesn't know the domestic game well enough. I also have doubts if he has the mentality to succeed, seems to rarely stay long in any job.

My recollection of Leonardo at Milan was that he was guilt of playing 'fantasy football' - very attack minded teams which were left very exposed defensively....but maybe that's what we need??
