Nermin started, went 90, and Scored the winning Goal as Erfurt defeated Fortuna Koln 2 - 1 in Germany's 3Liga
and SCORES Erfurt's 2nd Goal - giving them a brief lead. Currently 2 - 2 on a Marc Heider equalizer (35th min)
were down 3-0 by the 16th minute but then Nermin got a straight red card on the 27th minute which his team then proceeded to concede another 2 goals to lose 5-0. the team is already relegated anyways.
Season is over. Erfurt got relegated. Crnkic ended with 2 goals in 11 games. He didn't play after a red card on April 8th. Anything to say, @taylor ?
wuut? There is an American playing for scheiss rot Weiss Erfurt? First time I have ever hated a yank abroad.

This is brutal. Reviewing this thread, you can see I updated a lot on Nermin. I got to know him a bit. I interviewed him a few times on his European career. He was always so nice. At one point, he was the fastest player in the Czech league and he got to play in the Europa League including against Ajax in Amsterdam. Tragically, Nermin died of a heart attack earlier this month. Today would have been his 31st birthday. Born in the midst of war-torn Bosnia, he immigrated to the USA, became a citizen, developed in Michigan, and made a pro career in soccer - a lot more than most could ever hope. Just a great guy... gone too soon. Thoughts and Prayers are with him and his family.
I didn't know him at all, except for this thread, but that is so sad and unexpected. May he Rest In Peace.
