I think that is the first time I have ever seen him smile. Did his creators install a new operating system?

MLS at 16 Eredivisie at 18 Bundesliga at 21 World Cup star at 22 EPL at 23 Not too many US players with that kind of growth
Sounds like Houllier was basing the decision to sign him on having watched all of Bradley's World Cup matches and coming away impressed.
I can't think of even one. Reyna and Cherundolo had success at an early age, but nothing like Bradley. A good half season in the Premiership will easily put Bradley in a class by himself. In related news, Stephen Ireland is officially loaned to Newcastle.
Well done to MB, but I do think that everyone should temper their expectations of this loan. I hope he shows well enough to earn the full transfer, but let's look at his first season in MLS, and first season at Heerenveen, and first season at BMG. He did well in each of those seasons, but much better the next. That's what you'd expect-- a period of adjustment followed by improved performance. Let's keep this in mind if he has a few rough outings at first.
In case you guys missed it in the last thread here's a little something I made while awaiting official announcement. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rm4X6Hv5qk"]YouTube - Michael Bradley to Aston Villa[/ame]
if he plays well on this loan im the first one to say that Bradley will replace Scholes in Man U after the Gold Cup
That's interesting. He must have been scouting us for France. I think we could have met them in the quarterfinals. Since then, O'Neill quit Villa, Houllier left the FFF and joined Villa but kept Bradley in mind.
A) His game is nothing like Scholes B) He's not refined enough to play midfield for Utd. But then again, few are. We'll see though. He definitely has a bit of Roy Keane in him. We'll see if he can improve on his long & mid range passing - but he's got the right mentality for the position.
