    No Fire nominees for:
    MVP
    Defender of the Year
    Goalkeeper of the Year
    Rookie of the Year

Mihailovic and de Leeuw for "comeback" player
(I would have nominated Bastian, as it was amazing that he decided to come back at all!)

Katai for Newcomer of the Year.

17 coaches nominated for "Coach" of the Year. 17!
Only 12 teams even make the playoffs.

To the surprise of no one, Vejlko Paunovic is NOT among them.
    Coach of the Year nominees
    Armas, Chris (RBNY)
    Berhalter, Gregg (CLB)
    Bradley, Bob (LAFC)
    Cabrera, Wilmer (HOU)
    Curtin, Jim (PHI)
    Friedel, Brad (NE)
    Garde, Remi (MTL)
    Heath, Adrian (MIN)
    Martino, Gerardo "Tata" (ATL)
    Olsen, Ben (DC)
    Pareja, Oscar (DAL)
    Petke, Mike (RSL)
    Savarese, Giovanni (POR)
    Schmetzer, Brian (SEA)
    Torrent, Dome (NYC)
    Vanney, Greg (TOR)
    Vermes, Peter (SKC)

19 nominees for Goalkeeper of the Year!
Richard "dirty" Sanchez was not among them.

man, we didn't even get a participation ribbon in most of these categories.

let's be honest, there are really only 3-4 players in each category that really deserve the honor. the other 10-12 nominees are just fluff for their teams to have social media posts about. we have basically been told we don't even deserve fluff.

Chris Armas has been the head coach for only 3 months and made the list.

Is there a category for best GM/President and Owner?

Because I bet Andi and NRod would be on those lists.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

If only I could do my job as poorly and be compensated as well as you are, nimrod.

    You’re a liar and a thief.

    .

We have the Landon Donovan MVP.

I would suggest the Dunning-Kruger [Effect] GM Award.
Nelson 'shady' Rodriguez and his "encyclopedic knowledge of the MLS Rules" would almost certainly win.

In the post match interview Schweinsteiger went out of his way to praise Pauno, laying the poor results of the season solely at Nelson's feet. He thanked the fans, Hauptman, Pauno and unceremoniously left Rodriguez out.

Second to bottom in attendance and second to bottom in percent attendance decline. Only Columbus who was a lame duck team for most of the season did worse than the Fire.

How N-Rod is able to keep his job is beyond belief! No accountability whatsoever.
