17-year-old talent can get Allsvenskan debut for AIK - in the squad

    http://www.fotbolldirekt.se/2016/10/31/17-arig-talang-kan-fa-allsvensk-debut-i-aik-med-i-truppen/

    Snip:
A young talent can get the chance to make debut in the Premier Division AIK- 17-year-old Perry Nebiyou included in a provisional squad against Jönköping Södra tonight.

AIK has announced a 20 man squad on itshome page for tonight's away game against J-Southern.

Some younger talents are in the squad - Nebiyou Perry (born 1999) and Rickson Mansiamina (born 1997) has not yet debuted in the headlines, but they are in the preliminary squad.

Perry hasn't gotten his full debut yet for AIK, but yesterday made their first-team provisional squad. He has also played in UEFA Youth League games for AIK U-19, and has played for AIK U-21.

Internationally, he has gone back to playing for Sweden. Here he is in August with the U-18's (on the right):

    And in October (#9): http://www.ubro.se/fotboll/vinst-for-sverige-i-u17-landskampen-mot-england

He still has US Soccer as his Twitter cover photo.

He's made the first-team bench for AIK twice this early Allsvenskan season. Sweden did well for themselves to get him provisionally cap-tied.

I'm still not really sure how he keeps getting called in by the US despite being provisionally cap-tied to Sweden. Not that I'm complaining about it.

It could be that Sweden is okay with it. It's one way to keep a player in your camp when a bigger team is sniffing around. Technically, the US could be punished for it, but generally no one is worrying about forfeits (or other punishment) for friendlies.

Seems odd for someone who has only 1 first team appearance in Sweden.

Sweden's U19s, which is his age group/birth year, advanced out of the first stage of UEFA qualifying for this year's continental championship. If Sweden advances out of the Elite Round in March and he were called in for the Finals in July, he would presumably be ineligible for our U20s since that is UEFA's qualifying competition for the FIFA U20s next year. (I don't know if appearing in the Elite Round might also disqualify him, but it doesn't look like he was part of the first stage.)
