Its possible that Shandong wanted to keep him with them in preparation for the ACL, though I'd be pissed if thats the case because Guoan didn't keep back Yang Zhi and Huang Bowen. Though even if Han is there, he very well might not be starting.

    Hello Chinese Fans,

I am a Korean-American who has spent about a year abroad in Shanghai. I'm about to go to Tsinghua to get a masters.

You guys played very solid and technical football today and I wanted to say congrats.

sorry for not using quotes but my browser is messed up when using sopcast so posting with mobile lol. Shaos days are hardly over. As i have posted before, u really have to watch him play when he plays for Cottbus, hes one of their best if not the best and hes very creative and all that he has not shown when playing for NT.

    Congratulations, China.

Today it was Men against Children.

I'm very disappointed in my team.
I hope Korea learned a thing or two about humility.

yes sons of thunder. even china only goes 2-0 at half. but 3-0 FT is better than 3-1. needlessly we know are you still confused and quite frightened why you are not waking up from your little twisted reality : )

lol. thanks for the compliment. thanks to du wei your players failed to score a goal in this historical miraculous win. i would also wish cho wonhee stayed in wigan longer too.

i hope today's performance answered your inquiry.
i have three words for you. THREE TO ZERO. ; )
he was the main player to end the koreaphobia fantasy.

waiting for how many posts will hit my prediction from before. :)
good night everyone. it's been a good good night...

Well, thanks a lot to quite a lot of Korean posters who came here to congratulate. I really didn't expect that. When Australia lost to China in the WCQ 3rd Round, one by one Australian posters came here to make excuse.

You just have to give credit where it is due. That is my point. I hope you do the same thing to the others.

This is a quick guide to an Australian fan's (Australians as fans, not as people) view of match results.

    1. If Australia loses a match, a)Australia played a second string side or/and b)Australia got cheated by the ref or/and c)if the match was a friendly, it was meaningless and Australia are better than the other country cause Australia says so.

    2. If Australia wins a match, a)Australia is clearly better than the opposition no matter the score or how the match was played and b)the match was meaningful in every way.

I waited 33 years (1977 to 2010) for this. It is a historical moment. In the past whenever China played Korea I had thought maybe this time it's going to happen. But it never did. Ironically this is the first time I had not harboured such a hope. In fact I had predicted a 0 - 2 defeat. I joined this thread rather late today and when I saw ntg's post that China was leading 2 - 0 at half time I thought it was the women's match. I had to scroll back to double check.

Some said it's an inconsequential match/tournament, But it is significant because it's a psychological breakthrough. Never underestimate the power of the mind in sports or whatever we do. All along South Korea had the psychological advantage and China the corresponding disadvantage. So it is a double whammy.

Some are debating whether it was the A team v the B team or the B team v the B team. It doesn't matter. I remember in the late 1990's Singapore held a six-nation tournament which included China and S. Korea. The six teams played round robin and the top 2 teams then played in the final. China drew S. Korea (2 - 2 I think)in the round robin stage and both finished top. So they would meet in the final. China was fielding its A team with the likes of Fan Zhiyi and Li Ming playing. S. Korea was playing its B team but when the coach was interviewed by the Singapore press he said without hesitation that they would win. Asked why and he said simply that Korea had always beaten China. He was not even the regular coach but merely the caretaker coach for the second team and he was that confident. So the truth is that at senior level China A had never beaten even S. Korea B, that is until today.
