but who are we really missing on the squad other than Zheng Zhi (who we've never really missed when not on the team). Our "European" players aren't typical starters, unless I'm not thinking of someone, this comes close to being the squad Gao wants us to field.

No controversy, just no interest in an a stupid, inconsequential competition nationally, CCTV is now showing a winter olympics program in preparation for their upcoming coverage.

i think there's spaces for zheng zhi, shao jiayi (as sub), hao junmin, han peng

and other future stars (if they improve) includes: yu dabao and dong fangzhuo (if he can hit his belgium form in poland now)

i think Hao Junmin usually starts but i have to admit Qu Bo has done well today. Hes alot better at wing lol. Also Shao Jiayi whos playing great at his club, but when at NT fails to deliver.

Umm, no...Unless I'm missing something, Han was able to be picked and Gao skipped over him, probably to see how some of the other guys did, but quite possibly because Han doesn't really fit into his offense and hasn't had much success in it. Hao Junmin might have made a 23 man roster if he was in China, maybe, Shao would probably be in as a sub. Yu and Dong are not national team quality players.

Zheng is the only one that would probably be named to the 23 man squad (but not necessarily in the squad) if he wasn't in Europe.

    朝廷台一封杀,中国队就进韩国三球了;为了实现中国足球突破的狂野梦想,朝廷台您还是继续封杀吧。多播点网球就好了,最好是李娜姐姐的比赛。

Hao is far from securing his position as an NT starter, he was called back in with all the Tianjin players early, then the majority of them were quickly dropped and Hao was moved to the bench. Hao's a midfielder, I wasn't watching the game from the start, did Gao really have Qu in the midfield?!?

Shao is a decent option to have on the bench and he's good in training to help the younger players, but his best days are well behind him.

If we want to be honest about the quality of the Korean side, let's do the same with the Chinese side, this is pretty close to the best side we can field, barring 1 automatic starter.
