the nt should disband because it has been shameful for China and Chinese people in general. My stomach wrenches whenver they play.....

Focus on club, at least do well in Asia, more chance to impress.

    probably should be one more..

one friendly is not good enough to strengthen our lazy-plagued squad..

not sure if HONG KONG should be included here.
but for hong kongers like me who actually care about the development of hong kong team.

hong kong played a friendly against macau yesterday and they won 9-1.

hong kong's ranking is 153 and the lowest is 154....
this is DEFINITELY NOT GOOD FOR HONG KONG AT ALL.

    on a brighter side.
the dumb coach lai sun cheung is gone :D

which means ng wai chiu..the first hong konger playing for c-league (shanghai shenhua) will be back to the hong kong team :D

So do we have a new head coach or what?
The entire NT just seems like such a mess right now.

Why does HK still have its own sporting teams? Isn't it now a part of China?

Someone enlighten me? I'm asking out of curiousity, not to start a flame war or anything.

One country two systems. England and Scotland are the same country but they are separated teams too.

and HK is not alone, Macau have a separed team too, u gonna tell me Macau is nothing compare to HK but is a part of china too :p. I read somewhere that Macau will have is own professional League soon ???? is that true? The money generate with casino and gambling will be used for football??? if is the case that will be for sure the most corrupted League in asia :p

    from what i know:
macau has their own league but it is not really professional.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campeonato_da_1ª_Divisão_do_Futebol

they might have a professional league soon. but i doubt it will ever be a success.

macau does not really have a good pool of players to choose from

the best macau player goes to hong kong league to play and i think the business would rather shift their focus to hong kong instead of macau.
(in my memory: there was only one name Domingo Chan who played as goalkeeper)

if macau is to make a soccer league..it might be the most corrupted one.
but it wont be an interesting league that will last long for the moneymaker.

Have China got a new coach? Yin Tiesheng? Previously of the Chinese Youth Teams and Quingdao

I've also heard China have set up friendlies against Qatar on 30th December and Iran on 9th Jan, can anyone confirm?

wikipedia said Yin Tiesheng becomes the coach
but wiki is wiki it might be fake

anyway as i was reading singtao newspaper today

they say Nan Yong (南勇) might be replacing Xie Yalong
it also mentions many candidates dont even want Xie Yalong's job..so Nan Yong is almost the prime and only candidate

newspaper also wrote that Nan Yong is actually a good candidate due to his early knowledge of soccer?

i dun trust singtao since they write bull shit all the time
(last time when they say Zhu Guanghu was a coach, he worship different corners in the locker room and this is why Shenzhen Jianlibao won the C-League Championship years ago lol)

what is your view on this?

    New NT Squad

I am surprised that Zhang Yaokun is not picked, we have one right back in this squad only (and Cao Yang sucks in NT :p).

I am not familiar with our new young player 惠家康, what position does he play?
