    Mayors Make Friendly Wager On The Championship Final

    The San Antonio Scorpions and Ft. Lauderdale Strikers will be playing for the right to hoist the Soccer Bowl trophy this Saturday night when the two sides meet in The Championship Final of the NASL at Toyota Field this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. CT (8:30 p.m. ET). In support of their respective teams, Mayor Ivy Taylor of San Antonio and Mayor John Seiler of Fort Lauderdale have made a friendly wager based upon the outcome of the match.

    Yes it does seem like a lifetime ago. But then again, it is a more recent life than the last Cosmos win. Although Restepo is a huge loss for SA and a huge gain for NY

    Kinda hard to talk trash when your team is playing like trash..

    True... But we were still in the play-off last year. The deeper the whole the less you can smell the stink I guess. :) Restrpo reminds me of Luke Mulholland. .. There are a few teams in MLS that could use him.

    ... and we were playing for the Fall Title on the last match of the Fall Season.

    That said ... man have we had some shit breaks. Holy crap. Maybe we're getting them all out of the way now o_O

    Well its Cosmos week. and what do you know the Scorpions are FINALLY playing like a team. Should be a good match. As we know from last year James Shuart Stadium.. is the Scorpions home away from home.

    I think 1-0 SA over the evil empire! ;)
