Some explanation from the Aztex blog: I guess that means that the USSF is taking its first steps in expecting more out of the D2 teams. Definitely curious as to what those terms and conditions are.
Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 In Miami FC's case they would probably be to sign some players(Condition 1: have a team) and pick a stadium(Condition 2: have a place to play). Damn our team sucks... I hope that bit mentioned from naslnews about 2 leg playoffs is true. I love that format for playoffs.
Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 Possibly they've been met by now, in which case we'll probably never know what they were - though we'll get clues; if it was "Miami, sign a player" then we'll see an announcement in a couple days. Or possibly this is a reason to doubt what we're hearing from NASLnews and the USL office, and we won't get a schedule today because the teams haven't fallen in line yet. That would be annoying. Either way, I'm glad to hear USSF is serious about telling the teams they have to do things professionally before they get fully treated like professional teams and announced in a schedule. (Assuming the conditions make sense, anyhow.) You said it, not me. It's a good one, yeah.
Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 Interesting tidbit from the IMS interview with Edmonton's GM. http://www.insidemnsoccer.com/2010/...-the-newest-nasl-team-and-do-they-have-plans/
Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 I saw that, too! LOVE IT! Not even MLS has that rule! The guy talks about therefore needing a new stadium. Couldn't they just replace the turf and paint on it ala sounders? EDIT: nevermind. Saw that they want grass instead.

Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 These look basic, I don't think we shoud criticize NASL, some european teams have been around 100 years, and believe me only US fans talk about logos: http://www.90minut.pl/skarb.php?id_rozgrywki=4619 NASL logos are ok.. http://www.nasl.com/page/teamcontacts

Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 One tidbit of rumor in the second podcast: the host says he's heard the new AC St. Louis owners are from Belgium.
Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 http://www.insidemnsoccer.com/2010/...ation-stabilized-with-money-from-jeff-cooper/ Looks like AC St. Louis is here to stay!
Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 And they sign a new coach, Dale Schilly. http://acstlfanatic.wordpress.com/2010/06/24/ac-st-louis-names-new-coach/
Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 One would hope they wouldn't dismiss a head coach, even Mr. 4-3-2, without being ready to announce a new one in short order. Never heard of Schilly before, and neither has Wikipedia; is he any good?
Re: NASL/D2 News 2010 Part 5 Perhaps a bit over-excited. AC St. Louis is here at least until the rest of the season. Cooper only committed to paying the payrolls for the rest of the season according to that article.
