I’m going to hold out hope that this isn’t it. Maybe they secondary logo got leaked instead and the primary one will resemble the current one.
I have an 8 yr old granddaughter. She'd be sent to her room if she brought out unimaginative crap like this. EDIT: In fact, now that I think about it, she's thrown away scribbling that looked better than this.
Speaking of 8 year olds. Nashville FO, you received an N for your N. E=Excellent S=Satisfactory N=Needs Improvement U=Unsatisfactory
If not THE logo, certainly looking like at least an alternate one. Not sure any team has ever gone through the process of creating a mockup for a hat that will be sold at retail on a partner site. I'm personally hoping it's an alternate, simpler logo like someone mentioned earlier in the thread and that the real one has a little more substance...
I have two words for the folks in Nashville. Zeus. Jones. They designed the MNUFC logo. And that is all the people need to know.
It is one of the best logos in all of sports IMO. I have no attachment to the team and have considered buying their merch multiple times just because of the logo.
I really think a logo needs something for the fans to attach to. Like the loon in Minnesota's or the lion in Orlando's or the wing in LAFC's. I also like the ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal logos (Swansea also has one of the best logos IMO). I like Miami's new logo, although I think they messed up not using flamingos since their colors are pink and flamingos come to mind much quicker when thinking of Miami than whatever bird they used. It doesn't have to be an animal and it doesn't even have to be the main element of the logo. I think logos like NYCFC and Atlanta United are cop out / lazy / unimagined / uninspired logos. Give the fans something. Some kind of non-clipart imagery. If what was leaked is Nashville's logo, it is a failure of epic proportions. I just can't believe slapping the letter of the city has started passing as logos.
And why are we suddenly inundated with new teams always being FC, SC and United? Can't we get something original? DC United was cool, why do 2 more teams want to be United? Too many FCs now too! USA has some cool original names Galaxy, Red Bulls, Sounders etc, Indoor soccer has Blast, Heat, Flash, how about a few more original homegrown names instead of constant copying of English style names ?
There are no flamingos in Miami, other than in zoos (the captive kind) and in people's lawns (the plastic kind)
Yuck! They should have just made minor changes to their USL logo, something like this but with Nashville around the top and Soccer Club around the bottom...
Same exact colors as Columbus? I would have thought they would keep the blue at least (unless that's a really dark navy blue...)
My bad, but that is what I think many think of. I guess if there are none there then it makes no sense. Sorry for my ignorance Edit: I definitely don't claim to know anything about flamingos but a wikipedia graphic disagrees and says there are some that live in south florida. I know wikipedia is not a trusted source for anything.
Wow I wasn't a fan of the crest they are using now but this thing gives the Revs a run for their money.
Suddenly? This isn't really new IMO. I guess it depends on what you consider "new." 11 or 12 of 24 have SC or FC. Portland is the one I am not sure about. I see them referred to as PTFC and their official twitter handle is TimbersFC, but it doesn't appear their name is officially Portland Timbers FC.
After watching that video, welcome to MLS Nashville, well done there. It appears your NHL and MLS teams will run with that Gold n Blue theme. Right on.
