If I would have seen that, I would have been very pissed. This is a qualifier, not a picnic. Even though it would cost my city dollars, I would ask that LP field not get any more fixtures if security acts in this manner. I really do hope US Soccer gets on the horn to LP field that banners will be hung before the game.

You know, some security douchebaggery happend during Honduras v Guatemala. Basically, a security guard was acting like a tough guy to some Honduran fans who were (Wrongly) blocking the aisles to watch the game. They moved, but the guy returned and was being a jerk to the Honduran supporters, who were very noisy and raucous (As well they should). I didn't like to see compliant fans getting yelled at, so I told him "Chill out, this is NOT a Titans game.". He didn't come back to the section.

I hate to bring this up here, because I'm unsure if it's the right place but I'd rather not make a thread.

I saw earlier (somewhere in this forum) about US merchandise around in the area. Since I totally procrastinated getting a shirt I'd really love to pick one up in the area (or just some plain red tee shirt will have to do)

Me and 3 others coming in from St. Louis. Does anyone know if they are just going to open the lower bowl, or should i even be worried about a sell out. Im just gauging if i should order tickets online or not.

only selling in the lower bowl. we are at 17,000+ tickets so far, so there should be some walk up tickets available at the booth.

if you want to keep an eye on the tickets sold, watch this thread.

hopefully we'll get a few thousand more before game day and a few thousand walk ups

Ok, awesome. Everyone I was supposed to go with has backed out on me. What an awful way to mark my first game.

Anybody willing to adopt a fellow fan into their tailgate/pregame party?

I am sure you will be able to find plenty of people to chat with... just get out there and go to the pubs, tailgates, and march in... we'll be happy to walk alongside a fellow American, no?

i saw a advertisement on youtube for the match and at the end it did say to wear red to support the team. but i would wear some white and blue as well just so you will stand out....me and my friends are bringing some 3 X 5 american flags to wear around our shoulders so people will know we are american fans..but nonetheless you will know an american fan to a trinidad fan....not that we are expecting a massive amount of Trinis to be there anyways..so go all out

My man-date backed out on me too (some lame excuse about his wife having major surgery that day :D). I'm bringing a newbie in his place, so everybody put on a good show so we can recruit the newb to the fold.

About 500 T&T fans will be there.

    Good luck to both teams.

Nice to see some Socas on the boards. Looking forward to seeing you at the game (still hope your team loses, though).
