I'm six episodes into season 3. It's better than I thought it would be, I honestly feared this show would not work without Wagner Moura's strong presence as Pablo Escobar. As it is, the Cali Cartel lacks a figure as intriguing as him, but it's still entertaining and well done, for the most part.
This is something that cannot be overstated. Boyd Holbrook was arguably the weakest thing about the two first seasons.
I just started binge watching this. It's better than I thought it would be. They follow the actual history fairly closely. Why not? The world's best novelist couldn't make this stuff up.
