I have bashed Pavoletti pretty hard, but I think he's a decent midtable striker. He's clearly out of his depth at Napoli, and Duvan is better and should be brought back.
I disagree. I was against Pavoletti but he is here now. Zapta is just not suited for our system. He is a big physical player useful for teams that play high balls. I would keep Pavolletti. With Milik / Mertens we are sorted up front (assuming Milik is good) so I rather we sell Giak and Zapata and buy a very good right winger.
He held off 5 of our players in one play, which is better than seeing a clumsy Pavoletti fall everytime he tried to protect the ball. He's like 10 times stronger (watch how he holds off bonucci for his goal vs juve) and very good in the air. Pavo has been incredibly disappointing, to say Zapata wouldn't be an upgrade is kind of unreasonable.
